Cons -

Like other older German hotels it has no A/C. When we opened the door of our room the cool of the A/C'd lobby was behind us and we were met with heat. No A/C (no mention of that online but expected with an "upscale hotel"). Miserable sweaty nights.
Old old rooms and carpet. Strange smell. Needs a lot of updating
When we first walked into the room, the room had a very weird smell. We had to keep the window open for a long time to air out the room. TV was very small, although we had a few good English speaking channels. Location was not very good.
