The superior double room was really nice and the beds were really comfortable.

This hotel was in an excellent location to experience all that Nerja has to offer. The room was extremely comfortable with all that you’d require and the staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. Just perfect!

Great location. Even tho it's in a pedestrian zone, the parking garage exit under Plaza de España is virtually right outside the hotel's entrance. From the hotel, you are just a 90 second walk away from the Balcony of Europe. Breakfast was delightful and plentiful!

We had 2 twin beds, one with a very firm mattress, one with a very soft mattress. Not every couple will find that to their liking. We figured it out. Not much of a view from the rooms (but they didn't promise one)

The location of the property is unbeatable — right in the heart of Nerja and just steps from the Balcón de Europa. Everything is within easy walking distance, including beautiful beaches only moments away. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and although the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, we found it easy to park in nearby parking lots. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of being able to borrow umbrellas and towels for the beach.

The property shows its age and could benefit from some updates. While everything was generally clean, our shower had some mold and staining that seemed difficult to remove. The beds weren’t as comfortable as we’d hoped, and the carpeting, though well maintained, contributed to a slightly stuffy scent in the hallways. Lastly, the breakfast didn’t quite meet our expectations compared to other Spanish hotels we’ve visited — I’d suggest trying one of the nearby cafés for a more enjoyable morning meal.

This was a small room with not to much space other then the bed a desk and the bathroom. The sun deck and pool where very nice and a good place to take a brake. The breakfast was very good.

A bit small and outside construction noise. The shower leaked onto the floor and had to use precious towels to dry it up.

The actual location of the hotel is very good. Just beside the center of Nerja with a public underground parking garage a few meters away. The hotel is modern with great interior lighting and a large impressive rooftop bar with a pool. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel has almost no windows. I booked a superior room and it was windowless. There was a tiny interior window which could not be locked and looked into a small interior atrium. Perhaps other rooms had windows but in any case a respectable hotel should not rent out a hotel room like that as a superior room.The lobby, breakfast area, corriders, everywhere I looked actually had no windows either so it frankly felt like a prison!

Great location. No need for a rental car as everywhere was walkable within the town. Staff were very nice - super friendly with my 4 year old child. Rooftop pool is obviously quite small but it was very peaceful - even during the fiesta weekend when the whole of Nerja was extremely busy.

Lovely hotel, staff so friendly and helpful , spent 4 days in Nerja for a wedding and we were so lucky to choose this great hotel

A fantastic hotel with great staff. Its in an ideal location close to shops,bars, restaurants etc. The most comfortable beds and pillows and a brilliant shower. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Breakfast was good Continental plus I’d say Bonus hotel provides towels for beech and pool good ones 30 seconds walk from square Shop next door for drinks and snack open late too Air conditioning was great

As a couple we didn’t get a double bed two singles pushed together but it was fine

This is my 3rd time in this beautiful establishment and it never disappoints. I always look forward to coming here. I love Hotel Puerta del Mar and I love Nerja!

Staff great. S d roof top pool great. The GPS didn’t take us to the entrance when we first got there so it was a little confusing. But it it’s easy to park in the parking lot at the Balcon de Europa. You can park there for two days for €30 and go in and out. It was very convenient
