The room being on the front was very noisy at night somehow i was done out of breakfast over priced for the level of star

Lovely place, wonderful pool area and we had our own private balcony with loungers ! Great breakfast, fabulous location and very easy to pop back into hotel various times during the day after walking etc. Staying here puts you in the middle of where you want to be! Easy walk to the beach and tons of restaurants , shopping.

I should have paid more attention to where to park - this hotel is a no car zone - super easy to park at Europa parking and walk under 5 mins to hotel. Parking Balcon de Europa - put this in goggle maps. We had a very easy time finding spots. It is 20 euros a day but it was worth it. If you stay on the 3rd floor, you will need to go up a set of stairs ( no elevator - it stops in level 2) which was fine for us but just ask if you have mobility issues.

We stayed here at the beginning of August and we couldn't fault a single thing about this hotel. The location is excellent. It is spotlessly clean (rooms were cleaned daily). Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Izaskum at the Pool Bar went over and above every day for us (as did Satoko too). The rooftop pool and bar has beautiful views. The pool, surrounding area, sunbeds and umbrellas are all very well kept. Izaskum was so pleasant and she remembered our orders all week. Food and drinks are very good quality and very good value. We would highly recommend Hotel Plaza Cavana and we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just steps away from the main square and the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety to start the day.

Property is very central to the plaza in Nerja. Staff were always kind and helpful, the hotel is very clean, no noise, brilliant for a short or long stay. The balcony views and rooftop views are amazing.

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable but everything else gets 5 stars!

WIFI WAS TERRIBLE. They tried to fix it but it only worked from the lobby. I had to change all my travel plans to go home due to a family emergency, and had to plan the entire trip home while sitting in the lobby.

The property was perfectly located. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant.

I only removed one star because the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor when I turned it on and I have no Internet access while I was there it was not functioning and they were aware of it. It’s something to fix this.

Great location and pool / terrace facilities are really nice

Had issues with WiFi when we were there when we had children travelling so wasn’t ideal. Didn’t seem to be anything reception could do for us

The Breakfast. Rubbish Coffee. No issue though as excellent breakfast available in numerous restaurants close by.

Rooms are well appointed and the beds very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the location of the hotel in the centre of the old town is great. The hotel’s biggest asset is its staff. Everyone, the ladies who keep everywhere so clean, the staff in the breakfast room and those on reception, are so friendly and helpful.

Taking into account that this is a 3 star hotel that already punches above its weight and the price we paid, I can’t think of anything I would want to complain about. The worst thing I experienced was having to leave.

Pool very small and not enough loungers! Also, the air conditioning system was very poor, I stayed in April, I couldn’t imagine staying there in July or August as the room would be suffocating

It was advertised to have air conditioning.. but this was not the case.It was very hot in the rooms and it was only AprilWhen I asked about the air conditioning I was told that they have a fam mode instead of actual AC

We had a great stay, the location was perfect close to restaurants and bars, the staff were amazing and left a birthday bottle of champagne in our room.

Lovely location and very pleasant hotel, clean rooms, tastefully decorated with exceptionally comfortable beds. The rooms with terraces are fantastic, and you get a great view. Had it been warmer I might have used the roof top pool, which looks ok for a dip, and is surrounded with around 15 or so sun loungers. The hotel itself is a short walk from the bus station, and within 5 mins walk to the Balcon de Europa + many cafes, bars and souvenirs. Well thought out details: a 'closet' with actual coat hangers, which rarely occurs in many hotels I have stayed, good coffee/tea making facilities and water + extra blankets and pillows, and towels for pool. everything looked brand new, perhaps it was.

The breakfast was nice, a buffet style, but not exceptional to be worth 15 euros, I think it's a bit steep to be honest. The coffee was 'ok' and a bit too sweet, I feel they have made things to suit the British food taste a bit too much, who really wants baked beans on holiday?

Great location in the centre of Nerja. Good wi-fi.
