Hotel Al-Andalus

The cleaning service was good. The room was well equipped. Nice balcony. Good value for the price.

The receptionist at the arrival was unpleasant and because of him I have forgotten to ask about the WiFi password. On the other hand, in many hotels, they give the password on arrival or leave it in the room.

Would not recommend staying at this hotel

We arrived early and they said they were nearly finished cleaning the room. When we went up to the room it was filthy. The toilet was disgusting, the floor was dirty (see picture of my bag that was left just under the bed). The doors were dirty and just didn’t look great. My partner and I went for a walk to talk about what we should do and I messaged the hotel about unhappy we were and the filthiness of the room. They did not reply. When we arrived they said they could not give us a refund or even a partial refund as we’d said we’d pay a cleaning fee. They continued to say that if we didn’t write the message about our disappointment they could’ve done something for us, which I don’t understand as they never replied to me even though they saw it. They said we couldn’t get a refund as we’d used the toilet and shower (which didn’t have a door and the water went everywhere) and they also said we used the bed, which we did not. We told them we just finished 12+ hours of traveling and felt disgusting which is why we used the bathroom facilities. I took photos of dirt and showed the lady at reception, I also showed the dust on my bag and she didn’t say anything to me. We ended up checking out and paying even more money for another hotel. Any message I have sent to them since they have not replied.Also prior to the stay I messaged the hotel multiple times and even emailed them with a query which they didn’t reply to either. I would add more photos but only 4 are allowed

room / pool/breakfast all good ...we had a meal in the evening and this was excellent very big portions...cesar salad was the best ive ever got anywhere.... ...the tall waiter was fantastic

reception was very poor.....we arrived at 2.30 pm and were handed 2 forms receptionist taps the forms put 2 pens in front of us taps forms again ...no hello ...no welcome to hotel....gave us key points upstairs....never uttered a word didnt tell us about dining times / breakfast /no wifi code ... a very poor welcome to hotel.... she might have took a vow of silence...this shoud be addressed as it is a very bad first impression....

Great bed and bedding plus a good shower. All we really needed for our 1 night stay.

Lovely facilities. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Goid food in the restaurant at night. Breakfast plentiful. Perfect location for my trip.

Be aware that it is out of town. Not a problem for me but could be a issue.

Room and bathroom are fine, no complaints. Food is average. Staff during the day and evening are great. Night staff, who also does breakfast is rude and aggressive

Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Our rooms were clean and the location was excellent for visiting the caves (100 metres away). Good on site free parking. Sea views from the room.

Air conditioning was too noisy. Had to turn it off to try and get some sleep which was difficult in the heat. Tap at the bathroom basin was loose and wobbly. There was no plug in the basin and the shower drain was not draining quickly enough. Our friend's room had no toilet paper. When compared to other hotels we stayed at, I thought the rate was expensive for what was offered. Motorway is very close to the hotel, so there was a lot of noise; particularly as we needed the window open to stay cool during the night.

They had one fork to use for hum, cheese and chicken which is so unfair. Overall the breakfast was poor. it could get better by adding fresh vegetables & fruits.

Basic but nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Free parking.

We did not try breakfast, but the lunch menu was excellent.The room size was great and we also had a comfy sofa and two televisions.The balcony was nice and had a nice view to the sea.

Noisey guests. There should be a notice saying quiet after 11 pm. We had a family shouting in the corridor at 1 am!! No kettle in the room

Easy to find, lots of parking space and friendly, welcoming staff. Clean rooms and bathroom with the bonus of a fridge in the room. Nice wine from the bar and tables outside are shaded. Good coffee in the morning. An easy, relaxed stay.

Easy to find - free parking right outside. Comfortable room with a view of the Sea. Short taxi ride to Nerja. Decent breakfast.Very good value.

The shower head had to be held - so water sprayed on floor a bit. Busy road 200m away so some noise, but hardly noticeable at night. Fridge, but no tea or coffee making facilities.

The property is a bit tired and the room was very basic and small, we had to move the bed to be able to open the wardrobe. We were there for a function and the bar was poorly stocked. There is no hot food for breakfast
