Hotel Montera Plaza

Great location, excellent breakfast, parking available

The nice part was that at the breakfast they were brewing the coffee on time. Staff was very friendly

The corridors to the rooms were stinking, needing ventilation. The first bedroom that we've got was in the first floor and had serious water leakages and humidity. The second bedroom in a the third floor had broken air-conditioning steering but good because the airco vents were super dirty. Under the desk was pure dust. The balcony full of bat poo. Balcony lights were not working. The courtains had stains of dirt and holes. The Gym was closed with no date to reopen.

Nice modest hotel for quick one night stay. Staff was kind, but struggled with English. Balcony view was towards parking lot/ city, which was okay, but probably much nicer towards inner yard with the pool etc Gas station (24 hours) with selection of snacks and food, was right next door.

Clean and comfortable room, in a modern hotel and location perfect for our travels. Evening meal in the bar was good quality. Had to depart before breakfast, but staff gave us a take away, which was thoughtful.Would return and recommend.

Clean room with bath, hot water, nice toiletries. Breakfast was good.

Hotel is very old fashioned and basic. Noisy restaurant and bar.

We had a triple and double room for family of 5 attending a wedding close by, rooms are excellent very spacious with all you need for a weekend away

Although it was September it was warm on both days and we asked at reception if the pool was still open and it was …. We couldn’t use it as it was filthy and even had a cockroach floating around in it too … understand it’s the end of summer period but surely if facility is open it should at least be kept clean enough to use

Large room with ample light and patio on the back side overlooking the pool area. Clean and quiet. Breakfast nothing out of the ordinary but good for the value paid.

Would have been much more visiting if staff had a wider skill to speak in English. Still had done there best to help us, despite the communication issue.

the rooms are quite big spacious and very clean!. staff were very efficient and polite. location was good too with plenty of parking around for the car. breakfast is continental was basic but ok.l

we wish we could have had another chair in the balcony as we only had 1 to share for 3 people. more pillows provided would have been good. shower head are quite small. breakfast could do with more fruit variety.. it's just too basic for the price of the stay in the hotel.

Pool was open but filthy even had a cockroach floating around, I know it’s no longer swimming months for some but it was warm enough to use this weekend and if the facility is open then it should be kept clean

Nobody from the staff speaks English or any other language then Spanish. There was no possibilty to communicate with them.

The area and their was a group/party unfortunately staying in the room next door shouting banging on walls popping balloons after midnight screaming we rang reception 4 times over a period of an hour Eventually as he could not control themHe rang police . Eventually they did let us move rooms but this was. 1.30am . Hardly slept

Large and very clean rooms. Lots of towels and blackout curtains on the windows. Which makes a big difference to how you sleep. Great air-conditioning as well. Staff were friendly helpful and courteous.

Everything, great breakfast that we had eating out on the veranda.

Poor staff service. Not welcoming. A uniform should not replace manners and civility. Bland and boring hotel. Could have been anywhere. No Spanish feel. Room over warm and characterless. BORING!!

It was clean comfortable and quiet and very well located. It really met all my criteria. It’s a big hotel but keeps a very high standard.

Maybe adding a tea making facility would have been good.

Good spot to rest for a night. Very close to the bullring but on the edge of town. Room was very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Slept well

Did not have breakfast but had a coffee at the bar and did have their lunch menu, which was very well presented and reasonably priced.
