This was a beautiful, modern hotel on the Sicilian ocean waterfront. The room was perfectly clean, the AC was nice and strong, and the bathroom had a large, modern shower. Breakfast was epic! Full espresso bar staffed with a barista and freshly made pastries, charcuterie, and eggs. The pool has a panoramic ocean view. It's bigger than it looks online so you can actually swim good distances in it or lounge too. They also had a poolside café with a full espresso bar. Absolutely wonderful stay in Sicily. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views, great location, courteous staff

This is a fabulous boutique property in a super quaint town with plenty of things to do and see. Great pool and spa, and a delish breakfast up on the top floor with a great view. Pietro at night and Giuseppe in the day were both fantastic and accommodating!

Breakfast is incredible! Pool area excellent. Staff amazing! Rooms aren’t just clean, they are immaculate! Free parking onsite. Free internet. Great location out of crowded areas but very close to walking everywhere. View from our room 210 was unbelievable.

Breakfast was fantastic with a large variety to choose from. The pool was clean and the room, although a little small, was adequate with the balcony.

The breakfast was fantastic (especially for Italian standards), all staff were very nice and friendly! The parking was convenient. The room was ok (the shower was a bit old). As we checked out at 7 am, they packed a very nice breakfast for us. Thanks for that!

The swimming pool was a bit disappointing: the kids were jumping, it was quite crowded, the view was a bit worse than expected, the water in jacuzzi was dirty and smelly. Although we actually liked the area (palmas, chairs, shower, towels, etc) and the bar, we didn’t really enjoyed it as expected.

This was a hidden gem - we loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean - the products in the bathroom were spa level products. Breakfast was served on the top floor with a beautiful view of the gulf. Parking was included. It was a 10 min walk to Centro Storico and there were lots of restaurants and shops as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very central to Scopello and San Vito lo Capo. We also did a morning drive to Erice and Trapani which was an easy drive.

Stayed at Marina di Petrolo twice during our time in Sicily ..Loved it both times ..Really nice boutique hotel ..Fantastic pool with incredible views of the Mediterranean ..Staff is great..very accommodating ..Extremely clean and well appointed ..Breakfast was great ..We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sicily

Great location. Beautiful pool that has a great view of the sea. Breakfast was really delicious and with plenty of variety. We plan on coming back and spending more time here next trip!

Lovely small hotel with great sea view rooms, best sleep I’ve had in a very long time! Beds are really good.Staff were very friendly and helpful on recommendations and the breakfast was really good with home baked cake every morning ❤️ Great local shops/ restaurants all within walking distance and a nice beach 10 mins walk, highly recommend a stay here

The room was clean and the location was good.

The room is very basic and without much character although it is clean. I had booked a room with a sea and pool view and had paid extra specially for that. However they gave us a room with a side sea view and view of some buildings. When I told the staff about it they said there are no pool view rooms and this is a mistake on Booking. However they did nothing about the extra money that I had paid for that room. I even showed the options on Booking to them and they just shrug their shoulders and said it was a mistake. The breakfast was basic with basic supermarket ingredients and not much quality. There was the option of ordering eggs etc but no one ever told us and we only realized that in our last day when we saw another guest ordering. The breakfast staff was helpful but the ones at the reception seemed very uninterested in the guests and were not very helpful. We did not use the spa and the swimming pool was closed so can not comment on them. We stayed there in March and perhaps the experience could be different in the summer when the pool is open. Overall just an ok experience. The pictures on Booking are not the same as the actual hotel and are highly photoshopped. Will probably stay somewhere else next time

Room could have been cleaner - quite a bit of dust and hairs. Room very hot with air con not effective.

Marina di Petrolo Hotel provides it’s guest with a wonderful experience from the moment you step foot in reception. Staff are helpful, friendly and kind. The rooms are clean, comfortable with excellent amenities. Our room had the most beautiful view which we loved waking up to each morning. The location is excellent with plenty of things to do both at the hotel and in the nearby towns. The breakfast selection each morning was delicious and the staff were so incredibly lovely and helpful. A truly beautiful location and currently my favourite hotel I’ve stayed at, I can’t wait to return in the future.

Good position, great staff, wonderful breakfast

Excellent breakfast with a stunning view which alone made the stay worth the money. In addition to that , the facilities are all new and there is a general coziness and comfort feel to the hotel. The location is beautiful as well as near to the port and the city centre with all the great restaurants and cafes. The free on-site parking that is quite spacious made the whole experience even more stress free and convenient. Staff were friendly.
