Hotel La Piazzetta

Great location to walk around town. The hotel is very airy, peaceful, and comfortable. We also loved sitting out by the fountain.

The arrival and personal welcome by the hotel team was above average. Centrally located and easy walking to the waterfront and shopping district

We had the suite on the top floor, with two large rooms and a huge terrace with a nice view over the little square in front of the hotel (and some limited sea view as well). We stayed for two weeks with our 20-month old daughter. We liked the hotel very much, the staff was great, always friendly and helpful, the suite was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was modern and kept very clean, there is definitely some "old world charm" in the furniture and decor in the rooms. The breakfast was OK - perhaps not a lot of choice and variety (same stuff everyday), but I guess this is justified by the size of the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal, close to the main street, close to the sea, the food in the Gusto pizzeria/restaurant just next to the hotel is delicious. Overall a very positive experience.

The hotel could perhaps use some maintenance work, fixing a few things, a splash of paint here and there, nothing major. Also, for some reason the cleaning staff apparently ignores the existence of the huge terrace in the suite in which we stayed - the floor of the terrace was already a bit dirty when we arrived, with previous guests' trash in the ashtray on the table. We asked for it to be at least swiped, but it was never done and I do not think the cleaning staff ventured onto the terrece even once during our two-weeks' stay. It wasn't a big deal for us though, we still used the terrace everyday with great pleasure.The downsides are minor things, though. Overall the hotel is very nice, great value for money, and we would definitely stay there again.

Wi-Fi didn’t work at all for iPhones but worked ok for my husband’s android.

The position is perfect, the room was comfortable, wifi and a/c worked greatly, breakfast was good and both people I dealt with at Reception were very friendly and helpful! Try Gusto restaurant next door, absolutely fantastic! Not one single issue to report

Staying in La Piazzetta was the best desition we make in our Sicilian holidays. The hotel is an absolute gem in a beautiful town. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing and they make you feel at home. The help us to move around the area with a lot of love and suggested us the best restaurants in the area with the sensitivity to understand what we were looking for. We were supposed to go only for 2 nights and we end up staying 5. We couldn’t leave!! Thank you for all the love to the team, see you soon!!!!

Old but beautiful building, very Italian. The staff was super helpful and friendly, the owner is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly made every morning and was great to start your day with some freshly made pastries. Amazing location on walking distance of boat tours, restaurants, shops and a beautiful sandy and somewhat private beach.

Great location, super-friendly host (we were there in very busy season and we couldn't find the restaurant because everything was reserved, lady at reception helped us to find a table, she recommended where to park a car etc.). Nice breakfast.

Staff was extremely accommodating, breakfast buffet was outstanding, clean comfortable room, lift was helpful.

Sleeping on the (clean) floor would have been more comfortable than on the bed. Staff unable to give reliable advice about parking in the hotel vicinity.

Wonderful position due to the beautiful resort, huge apartment of 90 square meters, very clean and tidy, large terrace, fantastic view of the sea and lovely square, solid breakfast with delicious Italian cheeses and salami, very tasty little bruschettas and premium juices. Our little son accidentally broke the old lamp, we felt sorry for the landlady who was obviously grieving for the old piece of furniture, but she didn't rip us off anyway, but we paid a reasonable price, how much the lamp really cost.In general, all hotel employees were very polite and helpful, they really deserved all the praise.

The lounge chair on the terrace was not properly secured and could not be used. The arrangement of things in the apartment could have been better, there is little space for storing clothes, which is strange for such a huge space.

The staff was fantastic. The location was incredible. The breakfast was delicious.

I didn't like the bed it wasn't comfortable. I also didn't like not having a shuttle from the bus station.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location of Europa square. Everything climatic and appropriate. The room is decorated with a mood, comfortable and with working air conditioning, breakfast delicious, although I missed scrambled eggs.
