Centre Town Motel

It was clean, upgraded with new bathroom, fresh paint. Had all the appliances and utensils needed. Great location for us. Loved the coloured towels. I’m not a lover of white towels. Didn’t use the pool but it looked clean. It also had a community kitchen, which again we didn’t use but it looked clean.

Bed was a little bit uncomfortable but maybe would suit most people. The walls were fairly thin. When next door had a shower there was a knocking noise in the wall.

Extremely noisy. Walls seem very thin. Neighbour in next unit snored so loudly that he woke us both up several times. On second night a very loud couple shouted at each other from 9pm to 1am. We ended up knocking on the door after mid-night but continued. Volume was so loud that could hear them word perfect in our room and it was still very loud.

Very clean room. Large room and bathroom. Very nice swimming pool. Close to the centre. Nice people.

Rooms are a little noisy, you can hear people in the neighbouring rooms. But not a massive problem.

Location was very convenient to the centre of town. The room was very clean and the towels were fresh and so soft.

A double bed is a bit small for a couple. I would have expected a queen. The mattress was not so comfortable.

Walls a little thin. We could hear snoring from the adjacent room. It would be great to have a power point outside to charge EVs during your stay - happy to pay extra for it.

Close to town. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Great for parking. Will stay again.

Great location

Hot water was very slow coming through. Shower arm was lose. When I advised the female manager she wasn't really interested. Lots of junk stored on the patio at motel. Very untidy

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. The location is excellent, walking distance to the lake and restaurants, and very convenient for other attractions in the area like Tahbilk Winery and the Goulburn Weir. We thoroughly recommend the food at Thai by the Lake restaurant.

We were very happy with the whole set up.

Very central to the town and lake excellent value for 2-3 nights, friendly owners, clean and tidy rooms, pool & kitchen areas most convenient .

A heated pool would be better but as it was 40c on our visit, it did not matter and it was refreshing .

The location was good, but the walls were thin, and we could hear noise from the neighboring room, including intimate activities. Their bed was positioned directly next to ours, against the same wall, so the sounds were quite loud and noticeable; we could even feel our bed shaking. This was particularly disturbing since we were traveling with kids
