The room was very adequate for my needs - comfortable bed, clean and warm. The Kitchen facilities were also good for my short stay (only 2 nights) with a Kitchen table for dining.

Location was great. Walkable to town center.
I want to say the property had character... it did and there are certainly characters there. But I did laundry in room by hand because the laundry facility within the property was pretty awful. My bathroom was clean but the rest of the efficiency was not. Small holes in the bed linens, ants and an old "unfavorable" magazine found on the kitchen cabinet made this a sketchy accommodation for even a more seasoned single female traveler. IMPORTANT NOTE: The garage was NEVER meant for cars let alone larger ones. Easiest way out is to take a front spot and BACK OUT of the entry door. It took several scratches to learn that little lesson.

The hotel premises are split up between different buildings in Wilhelmstraße, Fronbergstraße and Bergwerkstraße. The hotel’s enclosed car park and garage lie between them. Please go straight to the reception (in Wilhelmstraße) upon arrival in order to collect the key for the car park or garage. The car park’s automatic guidance system will show you the way to the different parking areas and apartments. Guests arriving after 18:00 are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance by telephone. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Please note that check-in is not permitted after 23:00 under any circumstances.
