Pros +
- Location & value
- It was clean and easy to find. Cleanliness is VERY important to me and this one was. Though they didn't have a heating/cooling unit that I'm used to, what they did have did the job. The woman at the desk was very nice and spoke just enough English.
- Location
Cons -
- Small room and worn looking
- It was odd to have the toilet on one side of the room and the sink and shower on the other. Be careful, the stairs are narrow.
- Third floor room a bit challenging to reach via stairs with bags, but it was a historical building.

It was in a great central location and the staff was very helpful.
Every thing.
Continental breakfast was very good and we appreciated that they started a bit earlier than usual so that we could make our DDay tour. Gave us good suggestions for dinner.
Third floor room a bit challenging to reach via stairs with bags, but it was a historical building.
The location is right across the street from a wonderful bakery and a couple doors down from a little coffee bar.
No elevator. You had to walk up three flights of stairs. We did fine with this but that might be challenging for some people. The other thing that was challenging is that you could only check in at 5:00 p.m. or later. Just be aware of this.
Location in Bayeux was perfect. Host provided gluten free bread for my breakfast which was appreciated.
Parking is a problem. Not a problem for us but many stairs at this property
very modern and updated room with nice amenities. room was small but worked for what we needed.
It was ok for what we needed, and we weren't expecting anything fancy, but it was gloomier than what we expected from the photos. Location was good, close to the main street with shops and restaurants. Very close to a parking lot which was convenient.
The hotel has a gloomy feeling compared to the bright photos. It was not that much affordable than other options around. Wifi didn't work very well.We placed the "please make up my room" sign at the door, but came back to a room that looked just as we left it. No Elevator, which is normal in old houses, but the staff didn't offer any help with the luggage, which was the case in other similar hotels we stayed. We travelled in a family group so my mother and aunts needed help with their luggage and it would have been helpful to have an extra hand.
The room was lovely with a nice view. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. The location was several blocks from the cathedral and close to many shops and restaurants. A Saturday market takes place in the square next to the hotel.
My friends didn’t have a door between the bedroom and the bathroom, only a screen.
Decent location but horrible reception from a manic fellow who should not be in the host business.
When we arrived exactly when directed we pushed the button on the desk. A dramatic fellow ran into the small reception area literally berating us for breaking into 'his' hotel and accused us of being pickpockets! I told him the door was unlocked, we were standing there with three large suitcases and we pressed the button as directed. He slowly calmed down but never apologized. We then had to carry all our cases up two flights of very skinny steps to our tiny room. I suggest looking elsewhere.
the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good and especially the personell was very friendly.
the room is indeed a two star room: very basic, poor internet connection, not comfortable for a couple of hours home office, old interior.
The young woman at the desk was very kind and helpful.
The room was not what was depicted in the booking.com photos. It was plain and had an odor of cat urine
Good location. But only open after 5 pm
I did not use the property. We arrived and it was raining. When we went to the hotel everything was locked and there was a notice that reception would not open until 5 pm. Given the weather we had to find accommodation. We found a room in another hotel at three times the price. It would have been useful if we had known about the hours beforehand.
Location was terrific.
No door between bathroom and bedroom, except for a heavy glass folding partition we were afraid to risk moving. Weird. No hair dryer--later told they are kept with receptionist--so you have to know to ask for it before you wash your hair. Odd steps down into room from door, then odd steps up to bathroom, including an extra 1 inch step we both tripped on. Walls were super thin--could hear conversations somewhere next door, much too well! Bed had some sort of plastic cover under the sheets, making it uncomfortable.
First let me say all of the staff were lovely. However our room was horrible! It was small with a cramped bathroom. The aged orange carpet had dark long hair on it (not from me) when we arrived. It is the worst room we have stayed in for many years. The closet smelled musty and it was just tired and shabby accommodation. We will be more careful about following Booking.com recommendations in the future.
Everything except the staff
Well located. Excellent staff. Clean and comfortable.
Only minor concern was no elevator but not many steps upstairs.
The location is central and walking distance to everything. It is a 2 minute walk to free parking. The staff was helpful. The room was medium size with enough space for two people.
The bed was uncomfortable. Not a lot of electric plugs. The room was dated and gloomy.
Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, very clean, super central location :)
Lack of door to bathroom which was not a great issue but kind of a surprise
