Château de Bellefontaine - Teritoria

Charming hotel about 5 to 10 minutes from downtown. Grounds are very picturesque Dinner and breakfast were very good.

I didn¿t mind but it is a long walk to downtown.

Nice and quiet and very safe for the children to play outside. Great food and family rooms were very large.

This place does not have anything wrong with it

Located in a relaxing setting only a few minutes from downtown. Pleasant room with views of the garden.

Na

Lovely. Charming place. Not for everyone. A bit rustic and it's best to have a car as it's out of the center of Bayeux.

This chateau was magical. A ten minute walk from the train station, one enters an idyllic, magical setting. It looks EXACTLY like the photos. It's an oasis. Plus it's only another 20 minutes to walk into the city.

It would be great if the staff spoke better English but you can't have everything and, after all, we're visiting their country. They certainly went out of their way to be accommodating.

Very quiet, peaceful location, convenient to the train station and a 10-15 walk into Bayeux. Good breakfast!

Since the hotel is an old chateau with great character, it's bathroom facilities did not include an enclosed shower. The toilet was located in a small closet separate from the sinks and tub. Did not like this setup.

Excellent staff, charming grounds, great duplex suites and excellent restaurant.

beautiful swan lake, the building itself, the room, its secluded location, the landscape, it is absolutely stunning. the perfect setting, old world, French, romantic, stylish.

the hotel seems to be under staffed. there is never anybody at the front desk. and to leave the room keys on the plate on the desk out in the open, each with the room number on it, is very unsafe, in my opinion.

beautiful property and buildings

Beautiful setting. Friendly staff.

No complaints

Chateau De Bellafontaine is a very elegant hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Shower not on same level as bedroom.

Great value for the money and fabulous staff...

The food was excellent. The staff was kind and professional. Very accommodating.

The chateau property is beautiful; however, aging. It needs a renovation which is inline with its name.

We stayed in the carriage house room. The check-in was easy, and there is a lot of parking. The property is very pretty and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is nice, they made us fresh eggs for the table.

The shower doesn't have a curtain, and water goes everywhere!

Beautiful building and surrounds and a lovely room.

The drinks were a little expensive, but otherwise it was good value.

Location and comfortable bed

No shower, we had to manage with what we got

The bedroom and bathroom were well decorated, spacious, comfortable, clean, and well lite. The only drawback back to us, as Americans, was there was no a/c. However, we were able to stay comfortable by opening the windows and fans provided by the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. The check-in and out process was easy. We were traveling by car and loved the ability to park our car next to the chateau. The chateau is not in the city center, but was perfect for us as it was quite and provided easy access to the sites we wanted to visit. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely historic chateau with bar, breakfast and dinner on site- compliments to the Chef.

Grounds Needed to be cleaned and tidied.

breakfast was awesome. Lots of choices. "honor system" to pay was great.....

shower...hand held, and climb into tub to take shower, not safe for eldersno wash cloths to wash with

A wonderful place to stay and dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
