Novotel Bayeux

It was at a convenient location for us to get to Normandy the next day

The rooms were kind of small but adequate. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, but it was very expensive. We just went into town and got something for a fraction of the cost.

Ideal location for our visits to the Normandy Beaches. We stayed there before with a different group of friends and again everyone with us was very satisfied with the lodging arrangements we made for them.

Centrally located between train stations Saint-Lazare, Nord, and Est. Easy walk to metro subway station. Nice cafes and places to buy drinks all around. Friendly staff and no problems if you aren't fluent with the French language. Really nicely decorat

No complaints, very typical of European hotels as far as small elevator, staircases, etc.

Clean, very friendly and helpful staff.

Quality of food was average and the wine selection minimal.

The room was very outdated and felt a bit gross. It was rated a 4-star but was at best a 2.5.

The room. The bed was old, weird smells, not comfy, no safe, carpet was gross.

Location and pool area and a comfortable lobby. Very friendly and professional staff.

Could not control the AC in the room which was set to 64°. Uncomfortably cold. Food at the on-site restaurant lacked in quality. Ordered a medium rare duck and got shoe leather.

Fairly close to DT by walking. Clean and newer building. Breakfast was ok

Small room and bathroom!! Very odd layout with ultra small toilet in a separate closet from the sink/shower area!!! Very odd and unusual

The pool was really nice, the room & bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good. Parking lot is very spacious. The staff was lovely.

Beds were okay, but could have been a bit more comfortable.

This hotel has on site parking and is so easy to find.

This is a typical American style hotel. Room was large but lacking in any character.

The hotel has beautiful and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is very good and it offers a wide choice of tasty food. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Very warm welcome by the reception staff. The hotel is 15-20 min walk to the city centre but provides free parking ?️ and extra paid breakfast

Very clean room in a modern hotel, but no fridge in the room

Breakfast was great. Very clean rooms. Bathroom missing hooks to hang towels etc. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel. Parking was available.

Staff were hard to identify. When I first saw the lady from behind the bar I thought she was another guest coming back from the gym. For a four star hotel I would have expected the staff to have some kind of uniform (or at least all dressed in the same colour). Only one desk style chair in bedroom, again for 4 star I would expect seating for two. We were in a room for disabled guests but not all disabled guests are in wheelchairs.
