    Cons -

    • I never got to use it! I did find out from someone who did stay there, it did NOT have an elevator and one had to take their own bags up 3 flight of stairs.
    • The lobby area smelled stongly of fireplace smoke and seafood. So we didn't have any interest in dining at the restaurant or enjoying a nightcap in the bar.
    • The only thing I did not like is that we stayed in a smoking room or at least someone had been smoking in that room. They did have scented oil sticks in the room but it was still pretty strong. I was not sure if they do non-smoking rooms in France.

Location desk was very friendly and helpful

No way to heat water in the room. The restaurant had a limited selection and allowed a dog in.

Nothing. Met expectation for this hotel class.

The location was excellent! Located in the main pedestrian area of Bayeux and close proximity to shops, restaurants and pick up for D-Day tours. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar area is very cozy with a warm wood burning fireplace. We were craving a salad for dinner and it did not disappoint with plenty of greens and veggies!

    Everything was excellent!

The suite was comfortable for a family of 4. Location was good a walking distance to a beautiful cathedral and outdoor market.

Great location. Loved being in downtown Bayeux, great proximity to the Normandy landing beaches. Got a picnic from hotel which was very nice.

Bed bugs found in room, in the bedding. Moved to a smaller room but did not get apology or compensation for lower category room. Was told when I checked out all the bedbugs were dead but there were at least 6 dead bugs in the sheets of my bed. Would not recommend.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Bayeux. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. There is a restaurant at the hotel where you can purchase food. Bayeux is a beautiful town and we enjoyed it here very much.

As with most accommodations in the area, there is no air conditioning. We didn't need it during our stay in July, as the weather was still very cool. There was a nice breeze when you'd open the windows, but then bugs would fly in. Fans were provided if we needed them.

Nice little boutique hotel, nice and cosy bar.

Parking was a little bit a challenge (very small space) and the restaurant was closed (which was not mentioned beforehand). Pumkin soup in the bar for Euro 15.- definitely overpriced.

Such lovely staff and so accommodating over the holidays when everything else was closed. The building is charming, the location is perfect to walk around Bayeux and the on site parking is really convenient. It was easy to visit all of the memorial sites and museums and great to come back to a comfortable, homey atmosphere in the evenings.

Location, lovely front desk staff, nice breakfast and charming facilities.

My room, 15, felt cheap. Cheap vinyl flooring, chintzy furniture, although the bed was nice.

Location was excellent with a good size room and friendly staff.

Wonderful property right in center of town. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and reserved parking made it super convenient. They were very friendly, treated us and our dog with kindness and professionalism. The lounge was warm and inviting with soft leather, a roaring fire, and great cocktails to end our night. Breakfast was great as well with lots of choices. Walking distance to all the sites as well. Highly recommend!!

The staff was lovely. We loved the bar area with the fireplace. We came for D Day touring as well as touring Bayeux.

Our room was very small. The closest space was tight and limited drawers. One major complaint was the terrible odor in the water closet. If the door was left open, the odor permeated the room.

    10JenniferPosted on: 11-19-2025

Felt like a five star boutique hotel. Breakfast had so many options, many of which were homemade. The bar is what really steals the show. Low, leather chairs, a fire in the fireplace, candles…
