The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Victoria, Fontainebleau

Location.

Not allowing us to eat at outside tables even though hotel restaurant was closed (it's only open for breakfast). This in spite of ordering lots of coffees to go with our food. No air condition in room so super hot (over 30 degrees!).

Wonderful country hotel. Quiet spacious rooms, nice staff.

TV Channels need be international

Parking was secure and excellent, the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you and the position to everything was really good, great stop off on the way back to Paris

Nothing to fault at all with The Originals, would stay again, and recommend to others, parking a huge bonus, but a cost, however if you aren’t worried about security plenty of free parking at the door in the street.

Large room with unique decorations. Private, though paid, parking. 15 min walking distance to Fontainebleau entrance (and lots of restaurants). Interesting furniture throughout, patio and garden.

TVs are pretty cheap these days, so they could really be upgraded. And breakfast is okay but there could be a wider variety of cheeses, cold cuts and breads. We didn’t miss the lack of A/C but if there is air conditioning in one of the two buildings, this could be made clearer, same with the lack of an elevator. Some of the historic features of the house seem a bit unsafe (e.g., the railing for the staircase our building, there is open wiring in our room that looks like an old plug?).

Very bad.. They destroyed my clothes and the rmmon full of ants..

The staff are rude, and not clooaborative

The location was perfect for exploring Fontainebleau. Reception was friendly, and was quick and easy, and parking access was also easy to get into. Also they allowed us to leave our van at the hotel while we explored the town after checkout.

Location: We came to Fontainebleau for a local Half Marathon and we stayed for a night. The hotel was very well located (10 mins walking distance) to the start line so that was great!Staff: middle aged lady and younger gentleman were sweet and welcoming. Room: relatively big

AC: so annoying the ac did not work and it was VERY hot (in the mid to late 20s celsius) and even though we opened the windows, we sweated like pigs during the night.Staff: while the lady and younger gentleman were very nice, the older gentleman at the desk when we left was rude and unprofessional. He basically told us off for booking on Booking. Like why does he care how we book?? overall we thought the behaviour was uncalled for and totally rubbed us the wrong way!Room: while the room was big, it was a little run down. The radiator rack was filthy, there was dirt on the pillowcase - not sure if the room was properly cleaned before us.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location, walking distance to all amenities and attractions. Dog friendly with own garden. Was given a ground floor room with direct private access to the garden, which was ideal for our dog.

Private car parking was essential due to being on a busy one-way street, but felt that it should be free parking for guests.

Not a boutique

The annex building had a password to open the door, my room was with the windows literally at the street, there was no way go get clean cups or glasses unless i go in person to pick them, the shower was with this awkward curtains that flooded de bathroom, no outlet in practical positions.

Great location with lots of parking. Clean and comfortable rooms and beds.

No complaints

The young lady at reception was excellent and went above and beyond. The hotel was most forgiving of two mistakes that I made in the booking Proceedure. Excellent car parking.

Quite a long walk to town and to the chateau. And to restaurants.

No complaints. It felt harsh being told bags being dropped off early before check-in would be charged at 3€ each, but we were lucky to be able to check-in early instead

Location was central to Fontainbleau but the hotel was ideally quiet with a lovely garden

Our room was on the ground floor, facing the road. Sound proofing was poor so it was noisy.The toilet seat was broken.Booking.com description was inaccurate. It stated the price included all taxes etc but we had to pay additional city tax of ca. €9. Also, there is good parking but with a charge of €15 for the night, again not mentioned in description.

Nice garden hotel with character. Two buildings connected with a backyard. Comfortable room. Located off the main town center (still within walking distance).

The shower was a disaster. The shower head hardly worked and the bathtub needle a major scrub to remove all the mold.Limited breakfast offering.

The wifi in our room - not in the main building - was very poor. I did not realize ahead that the sleeping for 2 adult daughters would be bunk beds.
