Anna Grand Hotel

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even meeting us in the car park to help with bags. They also upgraded us to a suite as it was our anniversary, which was very nice of them. Room, food and facilities were all very good. The room rate included breakfast and dinner and access to the spa, the main meal at dinner was excellent, the dessert options could have been more varied.

Not much to fault here, the only thing would be the service during the dinner, we werent given a menu to choose our main meals and had to ask for one and the drinks took a long time to arrive, not a big deal but a 5 star hotel you would expect better service, however this didnt have any impact on our stay and in my opinion wasnt a big issue.Other than this I couldnt fault the hotel or the staff and would definitely go back!

After the renovation work the old building is full with new life, literally.

Such small things, like paying a load of money for the room, yet they add parking fee as an extra... If they say room is 10 euros more expensive but parking is included, no one would care at that level. But nickel-and-diming at that level, though... For me feels cheap to charge extra for parking.

The spa receptionist didn't talk english fluently (pretty hard), the massage was quite transactional, only one masseur.

Beautiful hotel, a combination of rustic and modern elements. Large, clean and comfortable rooms, with beds of the same type. Hallways, bars and restaurants at a high level, staff extremely friendly, meals rich, delicious and stylishly prepared. Location exceptional, surroundings tidy, the city at this time of year quite peaceful and quiet. Wellness area tidy, pools clean, always enough clean towels. The only thing I would personally like is a section of saunas separated exclusively for adults.

It's hard to say that this is a drawback, but I would like to see an adults-only section in the wellness area.

The location was fantastic. 500 meters walk to Lake Balaton. They have a lovely walkway and it very pleasant. The room was amazing, the dinner and the breakfast were delicious.

The hotel is very clean with a fantastic location just a 1-minute walk from the promenade. Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants and even a great cocktail bar.For activities, the hotel is perfectly placed: boat rentals are just in front of the hotel and there are several bike rental spots within a short walking distance. The are nice riding tracks around the hotel. About 15 minutes away on foot you can reach the beach where there’s a small aqua park on the water with slides and sup rentals.The ferry to the other side of the lake is in 10 min drive.The room was spacious and comfortable. The kids were supposed to sleep on the sofa but when we asked for an extra bed the hotel provided it without any problem.The spa facilities are ok. Breakfast was ok – it had enough variety to start the day but it could be improved.

The access to the garage is a bit crooked and inconvenient. The sink in our room was clogged.

This was our second visit to Anna Grand and the experience was exceptional, just as the first. The entire staff from the front desk to the breakfast and spa area was very polite and helpful.

The Anna Grand is in an excellent location to enjoy the Balatonfured area. The one suggestion would to maybe offer a Balaton Strand “excursion” for the guests to expand their experience.

Very friendly and professional staff.The person who received us (unfortunatly I forgot his name but he was a tall man), took care of our luggage and car was exceptional. Special thanks to him.The garden and the flowers (tulips) were very well kept

The dinner buffet was good. However, in this style of hotel it is expected slightly more variety or something more surprising and the choice of dishes was quite traditional, however good.In Hungary there is the different habbit of having single duvets on douple beds. It is like this in most hotels, but a bit awkard for foreigners.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was spotless and incredibly clean, with a pleasant scent throughout the property. The furniture was clearly of high quality, adding a touch of luxury to our experience. The food was excellent, both in taste and presentation. Most of all, the staff were very helpful, kind, and greeted us with warm smiles. Highly recommend!

The place is stunningly beautiful, with a lovely promenade. We stayed in a room with a balcony that was a bit small but very well maintained. The spa was excellent, with pools open until the evening. Breakfast was good, and we also had dinner at the hotel, which included several tasty courses. The staff was very friendly and always helpful.My only disappointment was the overpriced parking, especially since the lot was empty, and the high minibar prices.

We had an excellent stay at the Grand Anna hotel, the staff was very helpful when we had an issue with our room. The spa facility is beautiful and clean. The breakfast is really good too.

Basically it is more personal preference, saunas should be separated a bit from pool area with some relax room. It is not a criticism just as I said preference We had a luck to be there in weekdays when there is no too much people and we enjoyed it big time

The water in the spa jacuzzi was not hot due to a technical problem.
