Hotel Herreros

Spacious room with a nice balcony. Overall it was a good stay.

We were asked four times by four different people if we were going to check out during the morning, way before the check out limit time. Not a big thing in the end, but we felt like being kicked out of the place.

For the price this is amazing value. I just needed to stay for the night, and it was very good. The room is very clean

Parking is not great, but okay.

Our room was exceptional, we even had a little sitting area. fabulous place. Food was very good, staff were friendly. No problems at all.

Small but cozy room with a balcony. Clean linen, toiletries in abundance. Indoor parking.

The property was very nice and clean, and the staff was extremely friendly.

I found it disturbing that the listing didn’t have on site parking though I put in my configuration that I required parking. Fortunately, we found free street parking.Only one issue was that there wasn’t sufficient toilet paper in the room. Otherwise not an excellent stay.

All good

Central, disabled street parking, very welcoming and a good place to stop over whilst driving from the UK to southern Spain. Rooms extremely clean and comfortable. Should be more that a 1* rating, at least a 3* and with a restaurant attached with super food and super service. Gets busy late evening. Not far from the marina.

The windows

I had a meeting with some Italian executives via Teams, and the internet was a disaster, worse than the public network, to the point that we had to cancel the meeting, I was only at the hotel for half an hour, and when I expressed my annoyance, the receptionist He was absolutely rude, to the point of calling the police, it was the most embarrassing and ridiculous thing I have ever experienced, the man told me “that my aura was not good”, frankly surreal! I don't know if I was in Spain or in some town where the level of schooling borders on the poverty line. I remember that the police were very friendly and that man at the reception was out of control, he didn't want to return the money, I guess he saw it as an opportunity to maybe keep a few euros. Anyway, the worst personalized service, I understand my mistake of being in a low-cost place, but I never thought that the level of brutality of a human being would be so high ☺️

Old hotel with character! Very clean and nice staff! I would stay here again.

All good - nothing to write here

I loved the place, nice staff, the room was great, comfy beds, very clean, you couldn't ask for more.

5 min walk to Marina/Plaza del Mar, 2min supermarket, 1 min to another good local restaurant. We have stayed here before in 2019, also had a meal in 2022 and were happy to return. The hotel has upped its game! We were given a spacious room with very large bed sitting area, sofa, table and chairs, as well as a small balcony (uncertain if this was an upgrade). Bathrooms are compact but practical with excellent shower. Bar/restaurant service is now well organised and prompt: it seems there are more staff? Consistently good standard of food: we enjoyed all the dishes we ordered from the carta, but menus also available lunch and dinner. Very affordable prices, drinks especially good (0.5l beer €2.50, bottle house wine €9). Bar, comedor and terrace all packed with locals.

Only small thing is that the terrace suffers from traffic noise at a busy intersection but this is not in the hotel's control. 10% supplement for ordering on the terrace, which is a thing of the past in most places. Parking can be difficult to find at busy times.

WiFi complete disaster. Receptionist nice guy but does not speak English. 4g also works so-so. Could not work due to poor WiFi, that is why such a rating.

The location is very central to beach and town. Staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Super location, the beach is like 10 mins walking, however, did not have time to try :) A huge supermarket is just 3 mins walking distance, also other shops nearby. TV has like 500 channels, I tried to watch them all, but fell asleep :))

There is no wending machine to buy small things like I was so thirsty at night and could not get any drink anywhere. I didn't have a recharger for my iPhone and the hotel did not find a proper cable, luckily there was a shop nearby I bought it all the next morning.

The staff

Definitely wasn't four stars, wasn't clean the room needs refurbishing everything is old the fridge is tiny you can't put even one bottle inside. The card wasn't working and had to go to reception all the time (didn't keep it next to my phone or other cards). In general not pleasant
