Pros +
- It felt like home. We received a warm welcome from the hosts and excellent service. Always one step ahead of our expectations. I would like to thank for their hospitality and overall support. Beautiful hotel, very rustic & spacious.
- A hotel suitable only for...
- The hotel is really nice, in an old building, but the room and bathroom seemed to have been renovated not too long ago. The staff was friendly.
Cons -
- On arrival I discovered that my room was up not 1 but 2 long flights of stairs. No lift, and no offer to assist with my luggage. The room was of a reasonable size, but the facilities were very basic. The receptionist spoke no English, and did not try to find an English-speaking staff member.
- Small room, steep stairs.
- There’s no elevator so always request a room on the primo piano unless you’re able to carry your luggage up a long flight of stairs. Visit off season or mid week if possible as there are crowds of tourists on the weekends.

Personable staff.
Small room, steep stairs.
So close to the Paestum Archeological Park and a wonder “restaurant row.” Incredibly friendly staff.
Love this hotel, will always stay here when visiting Paestum. Very accommodating staff, good breakfast, parking nearby, great location next to temples. We had two wonderful meals that didn’t cost much at all.

An excellent location, and a friendly and warm welcome. Many restaurants near by and just a short walk from the archelogical site and museum. The staff at the hotel had a secure parking spot just metres from the hotel at no cost. Spotlessly clean room and a lovely shower with hot water. A substantial breakfast. We now wish we had stayed longer and will return at some time. Highly recommended.
Nothing not to like
Quiet accomodation close to the archaeological park and to restaurants in the evening.
Remote parking
Location is unbeatable! Allowed us to park our car across the street. They close off the street at night and open it very early so no problem for us. We left too early for breakfast but he left us a bag of breakfast goodies. So nice!
Little frig would be nice especially if stayed longer. Office shuts down at night or could have left food in their refrig. No hot water or coffee makings for early rising.
Great locationVery cleanBeautiful room
Located on a lovely street right by the ruins. The breakfast was lovely - best coffee of our trip so far - and table service in the shade out the front of the hotel. The room was clean with decent air con. The sofa bed was comfortable (shared by two 5’4 teenagers) Friendly staff.
Excellent location steps from restaurants and a short walk from archaeological site and parking; helpful staff; beautifully renovated rooms in a historic building.
The hotel is like an English country hotel, beautifully run and beautifully looked after. It is in a very good location not too far from the railway station and right by the archaeological park Our room was on the second floor looking out over the park and was very comfortable, with a modern good sized bathroom with new large towels. We were blown away by how kind, attentive and helpful Piero the manager and all his staff were. This level of hospitality is what makes the real difference between a hotel and B&B. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant (although they do a very good continental breakfast) but there is a very good choice of restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Staying at the Hotel dei Templi put us in absolutely the right frame of mind to fully appreciate Paestum with its temples and museum. And the hotel was very reasonably priced. We would recommend staying there unreservably.
Nothing. We were more than satisfied.
lovely building, easily accessible, very friendly staff
Breakfast was adequate, not outstanding
The hosts and staff are very friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was simply fantastic
In the weekend there is noise from the street until late
Very nice historical building and very comfortable inside!Area very beautiful close to Paestum ancient village.
Excellent sized room. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast.
Nothing. It was everything I had hoped for.
Fantastic location. So close to the temples on a very lively street at night with lots of restaurants and bars. It was lined with huge pots filled with red begonias and felt safe and very welcoming.
We really enjoyed the warm welcome and friendliness of the staff, the very convenient location, the very clean and comfortable rooms, and the delicious breakfast.
We cannot think of anything that we did not like.
It had a cosy feel to it, staff was nice and supportive.
Internet is rough in the topfloor and generally in the area
