Ancient Lane Hotel

The staff was very pleasant, accommodating, and resourceful.

Towels were not as fresh as could be

Location is perfect, staff super friendly, clean and has elivator.

Great location and the quietest room I have had in Hanoi.

There was a strong mould smell and mould bisible on wall.

Their definition of “kind bed” is 2 smaller beds next to each other. That means for a couple that hugging is harder

The location of the hotel is ideal, right in the center of the old quarter. It's close to the lake and Michelin recommended food outlets. The hotel is good value for money.

Staffs were nice

Small room compare with the picture. Though the staffs were nice .Though we booked the deluxe with double queen beds , they gave us two twin bed was not right ! It is fault advertise compare with the website

The staff were amazingly accommodating. I booked on short notice and they were able to get me an excellent room at a great price, and they helped me keep luggage there while waiting for future transit as well. Just a great experience all around

Located in a tiny alley, no worthy view, rooms on the small side but clean.

Location is super. It’s in the Market so you will walk past all local vendors and restaurants. Accessible pick up to all tours. Room was okay with basic amenities. AC was not too strong tho. Staffs r nice and friendly. Super helpful with luggage storage. It was the highlight of my stay and I was super happy as I spent all my days outside only.

I booked a single room and it was perfect. It’s convenient to all locations. Can walk around the old quarter and the city. I made a walkable map of 25 places, finished 15 in one day. I made a 2-day detour to Hanoi from Bangkok before heading to Cambodia. Definitely will come back for longer days and would stay in Ancient Lane still.

It was noisy during midnight til very late. My room was near the lobby and reception. I hope the hotel will implement a quite hours policy to all staffs and guests so everyone can rest well.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They supported us in planning our internal trips and arranging transportation. They also gave helpful recommendations on places to visit.

The rooms were not very clean, and the balcony was quite small.

The property is within the old quarters so it was very easy to walk around. The staff were friendly and accommodating too. Very affordable and comfortable. The current photo though of the entrance is not the same and the signage was small so easy to miss.

It was very central and had everything we needed! We checked in at 1am and loved that there was 24/7 reception!
