Splendid Secret Hotel

The location is great (Old Quarter). The staff (especially Cindy at the reception) were very nice, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was also nice.

The gym had limited equipment and small.

What really makes this place stand out is the staff. They are friendly and professional. The location in the Old Quarter might cater to some more than others. The area is quite old and the roads are small. It is a bit too touristy for my taste.The hotel is fine, the facilities are also decent - the breakfast was good. Overall a good package for the price. I can highly recommend the thai massage.

The old quarter is a bit crowded and very touristy. It might not be the most authentic experience of Hanoi. The fitness room was not fully operational during my stay so I hope it has been reopened by the time I write this.

Staff, location and cleanliness

Rooms are small and on par for the price for hotels in Old Town. It works ok if you don’t plan to be in the room very much, but if you are, spend the extra money and book one of their larger rooms.

All the staff is amazing. I like the hotel from the room to the breakfast, from the people to the facilities. I love the Ninh Binh tour and Ha Long Bay tour which one Mr Ding arranged for me, 100% perfect

Our stay at Splendid Secret hotel was great, in no small part due to the amazing staff. From the restaurant staff at breakfast who remembered our preferences to the therapists at the hotel spa, they made our stay truly memorable. The sauna and Sylva spa in the basement are open until 10 PM, and it was so relaxing to use after a busy day of touring. The property is in the middle of the bustling old quarter with amazing coffee shops and restaurants. The water puppet theater and the lake were a 3-minute walk away, and it was super convenient to book excursions. Thank you, Cindy, for being an attentive host and looking after us.

We came back to the Splendid after our trip to Ha Long, which the hotel booked for us. It was like coming back home. The staff was super helpful. The laundry service was super convenient and the food was delicious.

I had a lovely stay at Splendid Secret hotel, the staff were all very kind, the breakfast was amazing and the rooftop bar and pool had great views of the city and lake. I would definitely stay again!

Everything was clean, accessible, and in a perfect location. The rooms were spacious and the beds are so comfortable! The best part of the stay was hands down the staff. They are all incredibly kind, warm and quick to help. I hope I can come back to stay here again!

Friendly staff, nice location, clean place

We loved the hotel. The manager Jacky, and Ms. Rachel was very nice. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is incredibly central, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommend

My room was beautiful and quiet and the staff were all very curious and helpful, from reception to the breakfast. Rachel in particular was very attentive and made me feel at home. Great suggestions and the hotel is in an ideal location for seeing Hanoi’s old quarter. I felt well looked after and would definitely stay agin.

The staff was very kind, I felt as if I were visiting family! The room was just as seen in the pictures ! The hotel also was very close to the city center and easy to get to all tourist attractions.
