Very good breakfast. The staff were gracious and helpful. Personable. An overall good experience far from home. Great location and neighborhood within walking of many sights.

The windows are not sound proof, so can be a bit noisy for rooms closest to the street.

The staff were extremely professional and genuinely kind. The room was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and super modern. Everything felt fresh and taken care of at a very high standard.The location is absolutely amazing - very close to the entrance, and I could even see it from my window, which made everything feel easy and safe. The hotel is perfectly located between the lake and the Old Quarter, near Pho 10.When I wasn’t feeling well, the staff brought ginger tea to my room and even checked on me after I had already left the hotel - such thoughtful and caring service.The shower was excellent, with high-quality shampoo and soap. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel well enough to go to breakfast, but I’m sure it was great.You can really feel the care, cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail in this place. One of the best hotels I stayed at in Vietnam!

The location and the fact that it’s one of the very well maintained and updated hotels in the Old Quarter. This is the second time we stayed at the hotel and we will be back. Apart from the location, the staff is absolutely wonderful and helpful!

There is some noise early in the morning from loud speakers from a government building but it has nothing to do with the hotel.

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels on 6 continents, and the Chi is one of my favorites. It's not a super-luxury hotel, but it's a perfect example of a smaller, well-run city establishment. If you can afford the modest extra payment, snag a corner room (208, 308, etc.): huge, well designed, giant bathroom, the sort of room you'd pay hundreds more for in other countries. The breakfast is very good, too. The old-quarter area is plenty touristy, but it's convenient and doesn't effect the quality of stay. Highly recommended!

Wi-fi was a little spotty on some days.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, very close to everything in the Old Quarter.

Stuff was not very helpful, charged for a full day because we checked in early. We were there when the previous occupants of our room checked out.

Rooms were tiny and we had a fake window that led to nothing (just a wall). I had to complain to get an actual view.

We had an amazing stay here. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is very good, the location is superb. The staff is very kind, specially My, who helped us organize our trips months before our stay. We definitely would stay here again and strongly recommend it.

Reception and the house keeper attending our room are very friendly and accommodating. Bell service too but the supervisor some what arrogant

Stunning hotel located in heart of Hanoi! Fantastic rooms, beds, breakfast. Oasis of calm within a bustling city. A big shout-out to Ms. Linh. She is the best I have ever met. She goes out of her way to help you and make your stay fantastic. Incredible level of customer service. Another shout-out goes to Mr. Long. Always ready to help out if needed and takes care of any issues. A great service oriented team at a fantastic hotel!

Comfortable and nicely designed large room with space to work, relax, and sleep. Nice bed, bathroom, strong air conditioning, and quiet given the general city noise outside the hotel. Large and varied breakfast buffet, with helpful staff.
