La Passion Classic Hotel

The hotel is at the northern border of the Old Quarter close to the Dong Xuan market, the weekend night market and the beer streets. It is also halfway between the 2 major lakes.

Hot water ran out very fast in the morning for a shower. The breakfast needs to have more western food.

Room was really noisy, could hear every car honking on the streetBathroom was moldy and had a bad smell, towels were smelly too

Great for short stay with family. the room conditions is good, clean. the bed very comfortable. their staff very friendly.

The location - walking distance to the night market and eateries. Attentive staff (especially Henry), easy check in, clean hotel

The rooms seem all to be on the street side. We did not care, but for someone who is noise sensitive this is probably not the right place to stay

Everything was disappointing — from the noise in the room, to the smell, to the breakfast.The breakfast was impossible for me to eat and clearly not designed for international or European tourists. Everything felt old and poorly maintained: scratched tables, peeling floor, and overall a very worn-out look.The bathroom was even worse — there was mold, the water didn’t drain properly from the bathtub, the ceiling was peeling, and the whole place felt damp and dirty.The bed was not comfortable at all, and the windows were not sealed properly, so I could hear all the noise from outside.Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this place.

Location is so central. And such a lovely restaurant/free breakfast buffet! Room was very clean, well-kept, which cannot be said about many of the very cheap home stays I’m now staying in. Also, the staff -especially “Mr. Henry” at front desk, were so helpful, arranging my bike box to be picked up at airport.

We stayed here totally 3 nights and it was very nice. Close to the main attractions, good breakfast and very nice staff. Our room was clean. They let us to store our luggage during our cruise, early check in was available for an additional fee. Overall good service ??

The wifi wasn’t working all the time

The location is convenient, the staff are helpful and go above and beyond to provide a cake for my daughter’s birthday celebration.

Nice location a bit out of old quarter with more authentic surroundings. Very helpful staff. Spacious room. In general a nice building.

Aging rooms and some overhaul would be needed. Noisy from the street. Food could be better.

Unfortunately, this hotel was a huge disappointment. The pictures shown on the website are extremely misleading and do not reflect the reality at all. What was advertised as a beautiful and comfortable hotel turned out to be a dirty, old, and poorly maintained place that does not even deserve a half-star rating.The room was unpleasant, with visible dirt and an overall neglected appearance. It felt nothing like what was promised online, and we felt cheated as guests.Breakfast was another major letdown. The quality was very poor, with limited options, and it felt more like low-quality street food rather than a proper hotel breakfast. There was no care in presentation or hygiene.Overall, this hotel does not match its online description in any way. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially families. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious and not rely on the photos shown on the website.

The staff were great, very helpful - Henry especially helped organize our tours, which we highly recommend ( Halong bay and Ninh binh). Location was central and walking distance to shopping, restaurants but not much disturbance at night. Enjoyed the great Breakfast.

It was very nice stay, nice staff when i arrived in early morning and they prepare the room at 1 PM, so i can have a rest after i had a late night flight. The location in the central of old quarter so it is very easy to go around.

Great place to stay. Convienent location, friendly staff, clean. Nothing was too much trouble and we would be happy to stay there again.

Breakfast was soso but not if everyday its the same. Although we can request for a different style of cooking for the eggs.

The first room we got into had a smell in the bathroom. Kind of like the drainage smell. Noisy at night as you can hear the loud music from the bar across the street. The room fronting the main street was also noisy with the auto and motorcycles in the morning. Only one small elevator.
