Golden Legend Palace Hotel

Rose was very helpful in helping with upgrading my room, the hotel was very clean and breakfast was great! Would highly recommend!

My stay at the Golden Legend Palace Hotel was amazing! Rose, May and Daisy were incredibly kind and helpful. They booked the transfer to my next hotel in Ninh Binh and they also checked on my transfer to Ha Long Bay, telling me exactly where the driver was and when they would arrive for pick-up. This was super helpful as I was unable to contact the car myself. Breakfast is very nice and plentiful, the room is clean and the bed is nice and soft was well. Location is amazing at walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, Hang Ma street and Dong Xuan Market, etc. Would very much recommend.

Rose hooked up the ride to the airport and all the staff where very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was reallly nice too

Staying at this hotel was perfect. The best location in the city – close to restaurants and bars, yet far enough from the noise. Clean, with comfortable beds and the kindest staff. Thank you to everyone, especially Rose, who gave us tea made by her grandmother.

The Golden Legend Palace Hotel was amazing ! We really enjoyed our staff here. The location of the hotel is a great and is just off of a main road so it is a bit quieter. The room was very clean, a good size, lots of places to put our stuff and the bed very comfortable. The service and front desk staff made our stays that much better. Rose and Daisy were kind and very helpful !

The staff is amazing especially Rose and May,they took a good care, always with a smile on their face appreciate that.location wise absolutely good walkable distance to all major attractions.

I booked in booking.com this hostel which is showing 4star ,but when I arrived it turned out to be 3star..apart from that no other issues.

Location was just outside the old town so it was quiet. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rose was particularly helpful and charming.

I think in the last 3 years we called this hotel home no less than 9 times, which saiys a lot about our opinion. The area is fantastic, just outside of the old city center, so there is quiet at night, but walking distance to all the places we like. The facilities are very nice for a hotel in this area and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Even now, they went out of their way to make us feel like home, and we really appreciate being so well taken care of. Thank you so much May, Rose, all the ladies from the check-in desk and the bell-boys, you truly made our stay memorable!

Location is close to everything but still in a quiet area.After 3 months of SEA travel the bed and pillows are heaven! The rooms are welcoming and clean. Breakfast is tasty and plenty of choices. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. Jack and Rose added that extra personal touch and care.I stayed here at the beginning of my travel to Ha Giang and returned after my loop tour was over. The beds and pillows are that good.?

The hotel is average for the area. In addition, there appears to be issues with the booking management - my room (double room with window) was given to someone else and a slightly bigger room with no windows was presented as an upgrade (the staff at reception fixed the issue in a bit over 30 minutes and found a room with a window). The main issue however is that, as I ended up not staying in the room as I booked (that had been given to someone else), I was informed, after paying for the stay, that the policy is for me to be listed as a "no show" - I asked them not to proceed as a "no show" would possibly trigger a payment on the credit card I used for the booking, and that I had obviously stayed there and paid accordingly - however as soon as I left, I received an email from booking.com indicating that I had been referred as a "no show"... The staff apologised once I came back to the hotel to raise the issue - I do not believe that there was an intention to make me pay twice - but that is not an acceptable policy as it is misleading and can trigger double payment.

A nice Hotel in the Old Quarter with amazing Staff. Daisy and Mia were amazing and helped me have a great time in Hanoi. The Location is excellent right in the old Quarter but in a side alley so it is peaceful at night.

We had a great experience here. The staff kindly upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, tasty, and with plenty of options. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at this Hotel for a week while in Hanoi. It was a very nice hotel, clean and very comfortable. The staff are so very kind and helpful. Genuinely nice people who made my stay more pleasant and enjoyable. Ms May, Rose, Daisy (an artist who made the drawing in the photo) and Mia helped me feel at home with thier bright smiles and friendliness. They he,ped me get tickets to a piano concert, arranged free car rides from the airport back and found me a nice room in a sister hotel when I wanted to check in early. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect. Just walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and a short ride to Train Street. It was easy to sleep well right on the edge of Old Quarter. I will stay there again when I return to Hanoi.

Water heater inconsistency — still manageable and not affecting my satisfaction with the hotel

The location was excellent! We were able to walk to many of the places we wanted to see as well as the restaurants we wanted to eat at. Our room had a spacious terrace overlooking parts of the Old Quarter. I would add that even though the hotel is situated in the very lively Old Quarter, it is located on a side street which is actually quite quiet! Our daily included breakfast was very nice with lots of space to sit and enjoy all the various foods offered.Also the wifi was phenomenal and a real pleasure in this day and age.

A great experience at this hotel. Staff was so welcoming and helpful! May and Rose were both especially sweet. I felt pampered for my entire stay (4 days). The breakfast is served buffet style, but you can order off a menu as well. Breakfast is excellent!! I recommend the pho and lemon pancakes (crepes). Our room was a good size and daily housekeeping was nice. It can get a little noisy from the street outside, so keep that in mind if noise bothers you. This area has a LOT to do with a lot of dining options nearby, so you'll never have to go far to find something

Sometimes the outside street is noisy. You can hear dogs barking and horns honking

I love its location. Its an easy walk to cafes and restaurants. Most importantly, the staffs were all very helpful and friendly. From Rose who helped us find our way to the hotel. Daisy who were very friendly and all smiles greeting us whenever we came back from walks. During our check out, Jack was very helpful in arranging our transport and handing us a take away food as we checked out 4 in the morning.???
