Parkside Sunline Hotel

Great location, adjacent to a nice park, within reasonable walking distance of the Old Quarter, lots of great restaurants and coffee spots nearby. Neighborhood not full of tourists like the Old Quarter. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and cozy. I enjoyed the view from the rooftop breakfast area in the morning.

Excellent value for money. Really clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice rooftop breakfast. The staff seemed to be super nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.

This has become my new usual place to stay in Hanoi. The facilities are clean and nice and it's at a good location for our purposes. It's in a relatively quiet part of the city and there are good restaurants to the NE of the hotel. There's a park at the end of the block to the west, and this part of the city is not touristy and has few foreigners in it.

It's a little more expensive than I would like, but it's well within the reasonable range for Hanoi.

Staff were the nicest in any hotel I have been in- always happy to help and kind- they also seemed genuinely happy to see us- including breakfast, reception, the doormen, laundry and room cleaning staff. Breakfast was great. The gym was a bit small so not very useful but the hotel is right next to a park so you can go for a run outside. They have washing machines for you to do your own laundry and also have a laundry service. Everything is clean and they clean your room every day- but if you don’t want to and put the do not disturb sign on your door they’ll leave a bag with some water and fresh towels on the door. Overall a lovely experience

The hotel employees were welcoming, really nice and very obliging!The room was big, you have a lot of space to put things, the bathroom is nice too. Everything was clean.The breakfast was really good too and offered a lot of different food.I had a great time here!

The staff is just lovely. Everyone is very attentive and helpful - from making calls/ reservations for you to folding your clothes from the washing/ drying machines, (which can be used for free) the moment the program has finished. There are plenty of options available for breakfast, which is more like brunch as it includes warm food. Food can also be delivered here via Grab and a Winmart is located next to the hotel. I felt pretty safe travelling alone and staying here for several weeks.

Can hardly think of anything... Probably the type of instant noodles which can be purchased from the Minibar but it's good that these are offer these.

Great staff and great service. room wasn’t what I expected as pictures were better than what it was. Toilet and bathroom was together which I didn’t expect and room was quite small. Location was not bad only 5 minute taxi ride to old quarter.

No room service for food. Expect indian breakfast options in future stay.

The staff went out of their way to help us. Young girl on front counter and the bellboy were exceptional, both of them were so friendly and helped us for what ever we wanted. The room was big, clean and spacious.

Very professional and helpful staff, clean hotel, good rooms. Large and high quality breakfast buffet at top floor with brilliant view. Airport taxi service at very reasonable price.

Our room was on the small side, but bigger rooms are of course available at a higher price.

Staffs are super, specially, the Manager ( Andrea) & front desk girls. Everyone is very co-operative.

Bed is too soft.

- No cockroaches or other insects!- Overall comfort was good (bed, couch, bath); proper mattress; Everything seemed clean. - The room had an awesomely huge window.- The bath tub was long enough to relax in it.- 1st floor had a vending machine with affordable water.

- The room was extremely noisy, because it was facing the main street. If you stay here, I highly recommend getting a room not facing the main street (Everyone is sounding the horn all the time, even in night hours 2am, 3am, ..).- Air conditioning was too noisy to sleep with. Need active noise cancelling to sleep. ( I might be more sensitive than you, regarding this).- Windows did not have mosquito nets.- Bath: Water temperature did not go over about 42 degrees. Bath water became cool very soon.

Room space very limited (no space to open luggage).Shower over the sink (implying the whole bathroom would be soaked after a shower).Gym messy with old equipment.In general, the whole property could use a refurbish and update (as well as upgrade).

Location probably not best for backpacking but we were just stopping for a few hours before airport so it’s okay rooftop restaurant is only open in the morning you have to take a grab into the main square of that town

The room was clean and spacious enough. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was good and varied. The hotel staff, both at the reception and in the breakfast restaurant, were very nice and very hospitable.

Few electrical outlets were available around the desk, which was inconvenient when working at the desk.Not many restaurants near the hotel.

Nice hotel with comfortable and well appointed rooms. Facilties were clean and staff a pleasure to deal with. Reasonably close to nearby shopping centre with good selection of eating places. Would be happy to stay again.

Shower outlet was clogged which meant water pooling in shower base. Breakfast options also a bit limited. But because I was only there for one night it wasn't a big concern. Otherwise no major detractions.
