Elegant Suites Westlake

The property was very clean and accommodatable and it was also located not too far from the old quarter which made everything very accessible to be able to reach and get to this was a very beautiful and comfortable property and I would recommend this place 10 times over I had an amazing time. The staff also at the hotel were very patient and warm welcoming to me and my friends. They answered every single question that we had and went above and beyond with their service, especially Johnny who works at the front desk. He accommodated rides for both me and my friends to and from the airport And also was very knowledgeable with recommendations on places in Hanoi. Johnny was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Vietnam.

There was nothing I did not like about the property. It was absolutely amazing.

The hotel was clean, room has big space and the view was so nice on the swimming pool and garden, there are halal restaurants near the location.

Staff was so nice specially Adam. Also , has jibe GYM and swimming pool

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and great view from the room. Breakfast was not extensive compared to some other places we stayed, but was delicious especially the bakery. We even received the parting gift for our stay from a very friendly staff.

Construction around the place makes it look like sub-standard but its not.

We had a suite and it was lovely, lots of space, two bathrooms! Great pool and gym. Als liked the surrounding area. Reception was very helpful, went out of their way to help after I left some items in the room - thanks to Adam especially!

EXTREMELY spacious, clean room. I appreciate the dark, masculine decor. The bedroom was PITCH BLACK in the morning (great for a late sleeper like me). Bed was VERY comfortable, some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while actually. Nicely equipped amenity chest, fridge included some complimentary beverages. The property is large and has an impressive on-site spa, pool, gym, etc. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

The restaurant is the worst meal I’ve had in YEARS. They MUST fire the chef. I could not believe how terrible every item on the menu was.Bathrooms are a bit disappointing compared to the rest of the suite. Fixtures and finishes feel old and cheap. Towels also not great.Aircon was broken when I arrived, they fixed it within an hour.Smell was too strong — not sure if from cleaning chemicals or “air fresheners”. Lemongrass is a strong scent and should be used sparingly…The property had very loud renovation noise in the morning, which forced me to terminate my stay early. Thankfully the duty manager was understanding and refunded me for the unused night. But it was frustrating that they promised me “no noise before noon” and then started at 8:30am.Overall they seem understaffed, little bit of a “ghost town” feeling.

I cannot say enough about my stay at Elegante Suite Westlake!The bed slept like a deep dream. The staff was exceptional. Adam and Kevin at the front desk were very helpful and cared about me and my stay in Hanoi. The Spa was absolutely amazing. My massage therapist gave the therapy and care I needed. Hang was exceptional at taking care of me as well.Chuguinn and the restaurant staff were sweet amd amazing. The breakfast buffet was the highlight of my day. I absolutely loved the variety and quality of food and drinks. Not yo mention my evening meals.The overall property was relaxing for me. I felt at home. I will definitely ho back to Hanoi simply to experience this great hotel again.

Quiet neighborhood near Tay Ho (West Lake). Large single suite with plenty of room, full size kitchen with standard refrigerator plus washing machine / dryer combo in the room. Excellent breakfast selection and walking distance proximity to plenty of restaurants.

This facility is 3-4 miles from the Hoan Kiem area (Old Quarter) so isn’t suitable for travelers wanting to be near that area. The rooms could be improved by having USB charging ports available.

One bedroom apartment with 2 Bathrooms one with bath one with shower. Large sitting dinning area with full kitchen dinning table sitting area with tv. Breakfast was good nice swimming pool.

Nothing really.This is not a criticism however compared with some other establishments some of the evening restaurant staff could show a touch more enthusiasm?

Spacious, good facilities. The pool was on the first floor in the shade in the afternoon and with a breeze, so despite the heat in Hanoi it was super pleasant, and a great size. Also, there was a garden. We enjoying playing pool on the pool table and breakfast was varied and very good. We enjoyed being a bit out of the busy centre and having a large appartment to relax in- with a lot of storage place and comfy beds.. I could have stayed their for a long term. Its outside of the city centre, but Grab taxis were available to go to town for around 60-90 k VDN. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

A few hours after we arrived we got a really bad drain smell , coming from thr washing machine. We told reception an they sent someone to fix it right away- which really helped and we got an air freshener. However, there was still a light sewer smell during out stay. The appartment was clean, but if you looked under the furniture ( I dropped soemthing) it was not so clean.

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment for a family of four. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel facilities were very good. We used the pool and gym regularly. It’s located about 15 mins from the old quarter - just 70,000D. For us we had the best of both worlds. The quietness, space etc of Westlake but within a few minutes of the madness of the city centre. The breakfast was reasonably good. Probably some improvements to bring to real 5 star quality - I’d say 4.5 stars for breakfast.But the staff are what make this hotel. 6/5 stars.From the reception, bar, breakfast, gym, pool and even maintenance and cleaning. They were alll so very friendly, helpful and warm.Thanks so much to Karl, Jamie and all the brilliant staff for making us so welcome.

Shower in the bath is impossible to use without water ending up on the floor. Strange design but got used to it and it was not a major problem- just maybe something for the hotel to look at.

Huge suites with great facilities. Well located for the airport. Welcoming staff, nice breakfasts.

An extraordinary, pleasant and modern place to stay. Calm and peaceful. The room was so big, with a balcony and a magnificent view of the city/lake/pool! We were upgraded to a one bedroom appartement with bath and shower. Thank you again for this.The staff are smiling, professional and helpful.Very good breakfast with lots of options.Facilities, pool table, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and full gym.Some good restaurants and bars within walking distance.We had a couple of spa appointments, special mention to Quin, my partner particularly enjoyed time with her.

Cocktails from the bar can be improved.
