Queen Light Hotel - Ha Noi Old Quater

Decor was tasteful and charming, and the place was more or less quiet. The staff gave me a free upgrade to a larger room, which was super kind of them. Everything was spotlessly clean, with free tea and coffee that delighted my backpacker soul.

The room didn't have a window (or it had a stage one, painted black and with a wall two inches on the other side of the glass). I realize this is common in urban SE Asia, but I personally find it depressing if it's 7am and still feels like midnight in my room - especially if the room costs what this one did.

We enjoyed our stay in your hotel, the location is very accessible to every spot we visited.What we like most are the small restos catering Vietnam pho and bahn mi..the taste is so authentic and the prices are affordable ? thank you we will definitely come back to this place

the staff was extremely friendly and made sure my stay was great. it’s in a great location in the old quarter and the rooms were spacious and bed was very comfortable.

the bathrooms were small and definitely needed some TLC. the photos look a lot nicer than how the rooms actually look but you get what you pay for so if you’re looking for a budget friendly stay in the old quarter with nice staff this might be for you.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly — especially Dinh Bien, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location was convenient, and the room was spacious and tidy.

The room is clean and big, the location is very good its near the places we want to visit! Good value and the staffs are very nice and accommodating! Highly recommended!

Shower head had quite a bit of hair on it, clean other than that. Room also didn’t have a window which wasn’t specified, but as someone who doesn’t spend much time in the room, for the price it wasn’t a big issue for me personally.

The photos look much better than reality... Our room had multiple holes in the ceiling, walls and near plinths. Despite we didn't have windows (that wasn't stated in the description) we daily found many mosquitos in the room. The hot water is provided by a boiler and runs out already after 5-10 minutes is over.

apart from the location, amenities, cleanliness which they were truly all great. ha the lady receptionist, she’s the best! was looking for a road side food seller i met last year but becos she didnt have a brick and mortar shop, i had a hard time finding it. after giving ha a few clues, she managed to locate that person’s location! this was just one of the many few things ha helped. thanks sm ha!

Hotel is really old and requires renovation, but the main issue was that the room was not clean. Hairs had been everywhere: on the bed, floors and under the shower. Floor was dirty. I have a feeling that nobody clean the room before my arrival. The hotel is not cheap. You can find something better with this price.

The staff were so friendly and very helpful ,especially Mdm Ha at the reception telling us the must visit attractions.

The place was a lot more run down than it looks in the photos. There was a terrible smell in my room coming from the drains in the bathroom, it smelled like rotten food and was absolutely revolting, despite the space actually being clean (e.g. no dirt build up, clean sheets etc). We purposely went with this hotel as it has windows, however, the windows look out directly to a brick wall 3 foot away and there isn’t a single bit of natural light that gets in. We also paid quid a lot, so you’d expect a bit more.

For the price it is fine. Dated but fine. Perfect for the quick stopover in Hanoi that we had.
