Fabulous large room, perfect location for Ha Noi Ild Quarter, friendly and helpful staff

Best part is the service of all staffs from check in to check out. Communication is very good from right after booking. Bfast service is vgood as well. Chose this property as room size is way bigger than most of hotels in Old Quarter area.

Dated. Bed isnt comfy. Curtains not so clean. Toilet needs to be renovated, even if cleaner tries to do a good job cleaning it, it’s really the condition of the property. It’s so diff from pictures. Towels are so so and shampoo & body wash were so jelly-like considering it’s just so cheap in Hanoi.

The staff were very kind. The balcony was charming with plants and a lovely view of the street. We enjoyed having tea there looking down at the street.

The bed seemed to have moldy smell but the linens were fresh and clean.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location n all within walking distance.

Value for money, breakfast was very good,The kindness and approach of staff was expectional,Especially Ms. Lina, she booked our tours and they all were expectional, even though they were a little bit on expensive side.Loved the experience and stay here.

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, modest, but you could order some things also from the kitchen. The location was near the lake with several good resturants within a easy walking distance. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. I liked the tour booking service being in the hotel, I used it for all my tours. I enjoyed a comfortable stay with good value, location, and resturants, all inside the old quarter.

Staff service and hotel location

The room on the first two days had mouldy smell and noisy. Staff helped to change quickly. The rest stay was comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercury. Excellent rooms, great staff, good breakfast.The rooms are comfortable and well designed which makes it a pleasure.

Just be sure to check in advance that the room you book has a window, because some of them don't.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Even a week before our trip, the staff messaged us to ask if we needed help with car rentals, fast track pass, or tours, which was super thoughtful. Every time we came back from our day trips, they’d greet us and check if we needed anything. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. I also asked where to buy local snacks and souvenirs, and special thanks to Lina for being so nice and helpful with all our questions.The location is perfect since it’s right in the middle of the Old Quarter. You can easily walk to restaurants, shops, and tourist spots. The room was spacious and clean, which made our stay really comfortable.The only small downside is that it wasn’t clear if our room had a window or not when we booked. We ended up asking for an upgrade when we arrived because we thought it did. Would be nice if that was shown more clearly in the listing.Overall, we had a great experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hanoi!

Rooms are big , bathrooms are big including ?. Quite room . Tom is an amazing ? Boy very helpful. The all staff member are very decent and supportive .The pictures look much better than the reality. Breakfast is a good value ?. Beelines very clean ?

My room was in 7th floor and not reached by elevator ?. I checked in midnight and the staff refused my late check out request without paying 50% extra for couple of hours! I felt the hotel is getting very old and no general manager taking care to upgrade it. Many things are old , broken with very cheap white lighting in the entrance and rooms. Over price according to its current condition .

The location was wonderful. It's very close to Hoan Kiem Lake as well as numerous eateries, coffee shops, shopping, etc. The staff were all very kind, helpful, and proficient in English. The room was very spacious and at the back of the building, so there was no street noise at night. The bathroom was large with a bathtub and shower with great water pressure. Breakfast wasn't huge but very adequate. There was cereal, toast, and fruit accompanied by a menu you could order from.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. The bed was firmer than I would choose, but that's more a personal preference.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, perfectly situated near Hoàn Kiếm Lake and right in the center of everything. At first, we were a bit concerned to learn that our room didn’t have windows, but once we saw it, we realized it wasn’t an issue—the room was bright and comfortable, with enough light coming from the bathroom area.The staff were outstanding. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, and a special mention goes to Lina, who handled our booking with great professionalism. We also loved the thoughtful touch when the hotel contacted us to check if we were okay after not seeing us for a couple of days (we had gone to Sapa). That kind of care really makes a difference. On top of that, the personal touch of leaving a note and flowers in the room for a birthday greeting made our stay feel extra special.

One small minus point: our room was on the 5th floor, and right in front of our door was the housekeeping trolley storage area. It didn’t affect our stay too much, but it made the walkway less than ideal.

Great hotel and location, lovely staff and the rooms are well kept and cleaned everyday. Highly recommend staying here.

We liked everything.. especially the location. The breakfast was so good, and the staff so kind. The rooms are beautiful, big and well designed. We didn't want to leave?

The staff was very accommodating and attentive to my inquiries prior to our arrival, as we had to book in advance before traveling from Sapa to Hanoi. I truly appreciated how Selina kept in touch. She asked when we would be arriving, checked if we were okay, and even provided updates about the weather conditions in Hanoi, especially with a typhoon approaching northern Vietnam at the time.The room itself was okay, and the hotel’s location is very convenient, situated in the Old Quarter area, just walking distance to many shops and attractions in Hanoi.

I didn’t like the bathroom. It seemed dirty and poorly maintained, with visible stains on the floor and bathtub. The toilet bowl was also uncomfortably close to the tub, making the space feel cramped.

Selina was amazing, she helped us with everything we needed and was available and kind. Location was excellent. Room clean and comfortable.
