Buddy and Belly were fantastic, very kind and attentive. Great value for money in a fantastic location. Room looked new and clean. Had a window which faced the street so the room was nice and bright but was really quiet.

Had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel in Hanoi. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the Old Quarter, with easy access to local shops, cafes, restaurants, The room was new, clean, and well designed The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hanoi!

One downside - there is no breakfast available, but with so many places just a few steps away, this was not a real problem.

We had a wonderful stay at Keypad 29 in December, 2024. We used the hotel as our base for northern Vietnam while we explored Hà Nội, Ha Long Bay & Sa Pa. All in all we spent 6 nights at the hotel. It really felt like home away from home to us, largely thanks to the unrivalled hospitality of Lily and team! We loved our spacious king room and found the hotel to be clean, with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. The steamer in room was also very helpful and we loved the modern layout with lots of storage space to stow baggage. The staff went above and beyond to help us arrange day trips, carry and store our luggage, and keep our room clean and tidy! Hà Nội is an amazing place to experience, when I returning I’ll definitely be choosing to stay at Keypad again.

Bathrobes would be a lovely touch (as featured in the photos). Corner shelves in the shower area would also make the experience better for keeping toiletries. Slippers should be cleaned after each guest.

The location is fantastic; it is right in the old quarter but away from the more touristy traps. It was near many great coffee shops and restaurants. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful—big cheers to them all. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone. Oh, also don't let the tiny reception fool you. the room we got (302) was huge , clean, comfy and ample space for luggage.

Given that we are in the old quarter, the street level can be a bit noisy but its part of the atmosphere.

The staff are amazing. They let you shower at the front desk’s bathroom after you checked out. And they also provided a clean towel for you. The front desk staff are super nice and helpful. Couldn’t ask for more.

The best location, room and staffs. Staffs were such nice people, took care of everything we wanted from checking us in to ensuring I got into the cab back to the airport fine. Nicest people I’ve ever met. Will definitely choose this hotel to stay anytime I’m in Hanoi :) Ly Lily ♥️

Perfect location in Hanoi, easily accessible. Staff were all very lovely and helpful with any requests.

Highly recommend, all the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The hotel was impeccably clean and provided everything we needed. It’s also in a great location, easy to walk anywhere within the old quarter.

Location and comfy beds

The staff was extremely friendly, especially Ely! I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The rooms were extremely clean and in a great location!

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly & accomodating.

The location was great! Not too central but still within the old quarter. I loved the balcony and bathroom which had hot water. The bed was really comfortable and they had Netflix too

Although it wasn’t that big a deal for me, but I think some locals hang out outside at night so it was pretty noisy (laughing, shouting, talking, etc) until like 330/4am (I stayed in the 6th out of 7 floors)

We spent one night here and just loved it. The staff were fantastic and very hospitable. We enjoyed a lovely welcome tea on our balcony with an unobstructed view of the city! The room was spotless and the bathroom was perfect, fully enclosed shower which is hard to come by in Vietnam. Bed was also really comfy.

The sockets beside the bed were falling off the wall and also quite a bit of noise at night which I suppose is unavoidable in such a prime location!

It was right at the center and was a walkable distance to the restaurants that I wanted to try out. The room was very clean. They had a fan + ac which i badly needed since i run warm lol. They also provided me with clothing steamer. Buddy and Lily were the receptionist during my stay and they were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. They also checked up on me if arrived safely in my other destination. Such sweethearts!

Everything was perfect! Nothing to complain about the place and the staff.

The room we got had a nice view and so close to everything. The staff were always smiling and always happy to help. The room was spacious with plenty of views of the city.

Clean and new. It was one of the best no frills hotel. Good quality materials
