La Palm Boutique Hotel

The hotel staff were amazing! Helen at the front desk is a gem! They are so helpful in whatever you need. Strongly advise you to check with them about booking a tour before you do it on your own. The rooms were a good size, comfy beds and pillows. Rooms were spotlessly clean! The rooms may be a little more care worn than they appear on pictures but still fine! Location is great. 10 min walk to lake in the heart of old quarter. It can be noisy but we didn’t hear anything at night. Breakfast included, omelet or true eggs to order. If you get the terrace room you take elevator to 6th floor then walk up 2 flights. If you have mobility issues stay on floors 2-6 and you’re fine

The staff was exceptional. They helped us extend our stay when our flight was delayed a day.

The location is convenient to go around Old Quarter. The place is small, but comfortable enough. The staffs are friendly, kind and helpful with things.

While the room is clean enough, the mattress is in a very bad condition. It’s covered with clean cover and blanket, but the mattress itself is full of mold, in bad condition, and very very old.

Room now clean. No window. The room feels humid and musty.

Very small room, smell very bad, toilet is small and smells bad. This is not be rated as a hotel , maybe a hostel .

Everything! Great location. Clean, comfortable great breakfast. Most importantly, the staff was kind friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in my well-being. The next time I’m in Hanoi I will be staying at the Palm boutique Hotel. ?

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedding was nice and fresh, good location on the edge of the Old Quarter, and bathroom had modern fittings plus soap and shampoo.

The whole place needs a refurbishment, especially needs to be painted and re-carpeted. The rooms with windows are noisy with all the street life below. Bed was hard and worn out. Breakfast was unappetizing and it would be nice if they would wipe down the tables between customers.

A very nice place to stay. There are many sightseeing spots nearby, as well as plenty of cozy places to eat. The staff are very caring and helpful - we truly felt welcomed. The location is convenient, quiet, and definitely worth recommending.

In some areas we noticed mold, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom coming from the drains, and the shower cabin does not close at all. The cleanliness could also be improved. With some updates and more attention to maintenance, this place could be much better.

This was my second stay and recommend this hotel for the convenient location. Staff is very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage ahead of check-in time.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, and kind -- they were wonderful! Great value for the stay in this property, I really enjoyed it as my first booking in Hanoi.

There's always a bit of noise from the street to rooms, but if you're worried about a little noise then you wouldn't be booking in Old Quarter huh! ?

Clean room, good location and breakfast buffet. Super friendly staff who accomodated our midnight check-in.

We experienced some noice in the early morning from te cleaning staff. Also the bathroom was a bit smelly and we were not able to fully darken the room because there was no curtain for the inside window.

The staff are very accommodating, Camille and Anthony. The location is really good, it’s close to some good restaurants coffee shop, spa and other things. The place is reasonable price and the rooms are clean. Planning to stay at La Palm Boutique again!

Great location and very friendly staff esp Camille. Room is cleaned daily with new towels and quick responses to any requests. Laundry services is also convenient. Breakfast is simple but filling and perfect before heading out for our full day tours. Quiet despite nearby nightlife even past midnight and comfortable stay.

Only downside was the bathroom smell, it could improve with better ventilation.
