Location was great. The room has great view overlooking the lake.
The bathroom was small and water sips out to the walkway when bathing.
Good central location. Comfortable and not too loud. Nice staff
Location, location, location! The balcony was awesome and the all glass room walls were great! The staff is incredible. They are so kind and willing to help with anything, that and the location made up for the datedness of the building. Definitely needed some fine tuning in both the bathroom and the aircon as I think the pictures made it seem newer than what it actually is. Breakfast is in a separate building as well as the roof top bar.
The staff are great very friendly always willing to help.the location and breakfast is in prime location
The location while very convenient is a bit loud the street noise can be excessive.
The view from the room was great. The hotel is very well located wrt restaurants and bars. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
It was rather noisy, even with windows closed.
Location is very close to Hoan Kiem lake and central to everything. Hotel is also clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is good. We would stay again and recommend to families and friends!
Elevator is too small.
Beautiful and large room with huge bathroom and tub. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful, even helping me communicate with the grab driver when there were road closures. The elevator is tiny and has a push door (not automatic doors), which some may find scary, but I didn't have an issue with it.
Had to go outside and 2 businesses down to get to the sister hotel where breakfast is served.
Location was great on the edge of the Old Town by the lake. Turn left you on west side turn right you are in the old town
It’s good value so I’m not going to nit pick small things.
So kind and welcoming staff members despite the late hour of my arrival. Offered me to keep my suitcases during the next days as I had a planned trip bus to Ha Giang before coming back and even provided me with a towel to take a shower before leaving.
Nicest staff members I have ever encountered and I have been travelling around the world almost 100+ days, 15+ countries in an year for the last 3 years.Ann, Alice, Tong, Roger, Nia and David (I hope I am not misspelling their names, and if so, please excuse me) were just some of the young group of staff members I have encountered during my 4 days stay and their energy, positive attitude and useful/friendly tips about how to get around in the city, made such a huge impact on me having a wonderful time in Hanoi and Vietnam in general. Such great ambassadors of the hotel, very rarely have I come up with something as good as a hospitality service during my travels around the world.
Great location, friendly staff, quiet rooms. Breakfast is fine. Would stay again.
Location, room, breakfast. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful reception desk staff.
The shower area gets slippery while taking a shower. Non-skid mat is needed.
The view, location, breakfast option
Service need to be little bit fast
humble 4 star hotel. Rooms are dated and elevator as seen some years. Elevator takes some time and is quite limited in terms of space. If it wasn’t for the high level of professionalism and hospitality that was provided by our kind receptionist, * ALICE *, I would have left feeling that I had overpaid for the lodging. This office runs on a policy of full transparency - no tricky games or ways to maximize profit off of you. They are upfront with prices and genuinely just want you to feel safe and comfortable during your stay. Without being prompted, Alice took initiative to ensure that we were able to have breakfast, despite us having to leave at 5am solely based on our mentioning that we will be needing to check out early. Of course, the kitchen is not open during this time, but she went out of her way to see to it that we would not go hungry before our early flight by preparing some food boxes for us. It’s little things like this that she did throughout our stay that guarantees our return in future.
I stayed here with my family, and the staff was wonderful. My kids and wife love Grace. She let us borrow umbrellas during the rain, updated us on the weather and current events, and gave my kids candy when they looked tired and down. I can talk to her about anything, and she is very fluent in English. The room was nice and spacious. We got the top-view room that looked out at the lake. It was beautiful to see the lake and the city from up there. The breakfast was good and healthy. If you have any questions about the city or places to go, the front desk staff can help you book a car and tell you where to go. The location was very ideal for walking throughout the city. It was close to everything. The restaurant next door is very good, and the shop next door with Grandma is very cheap if you talk to her nicely. I cannot imagine a better location.
Sometimes there are just too many moterbike parked in front of the hotel that do not belong to the people in the hotel. It makes it a little hard to walk around it.
We got a junior suite. The room was spacious, with natural light and clean. The location is very centric and the staff were super kind and helpful. Breakfast was ok, not the best, definitely not bad.
Our room faced the street, which would make it very loud at some points. If you have a light sleep, maybe try to get a room that doesn’t face the street
Perfect place right in the middle of the Old Quarter and very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice. I had a room with a balcony and it was lovely to sip your tea there and look at the people and traffic from above.
A bit noisy from streets but that is to be expected if you’re right in the middle of the Old Quarter. The room is clean but things are a little bit old.
The location and the staff are the standouts! Each staff member on any shift knows your room number and is so friendly! Plus everything is right there for you, you’re staying right in the thick of all the action test I could hear no noise :)
The shower was a little inconvenient :)
Excellent and really central location. The staff was super friendly and the room spacious and comfy. The bed was also very comfortable.
Breakfast was served in a different location (partner hotel), a couple meters away from the establishment. Additionally, in order to use the elevator, someone needs to be quite patient.
