Old decaying, cheap looking hotel.

The room atmosphere is weird, I don’t feel comfortable when we enter the room, like cheap motel. Stay away.

The concierge was very helpful recommending a tour operator so we could split our stay and they took care of our big suitcases while away. All good !

The decor and the location

The room was cold and damp. We complained and a technician came up who just seemed to make it even colder. A very uncomfortable stay and very unhelpful reception staff from checking in to checking out. We wasn’t even asked if we had enjoyed our stay?

The room was larger than expected and facilities well-designed and more luxurious than we expected. The curtain separating the bathroom and bedroom was cleverly designed, and the windows opening out into the courtyard was a nice touch. In addition, the location near the Opera square was particularly well located within the French Quarter.

Lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim, especially around the sink--not designed by anyone who has ever put make-up on, apparently. :)

A 5-star experience. Truely a nice hotel. Room was spacious with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Staff was nice and super helpful. Food was amazing. Would recommend.

This is an amazing hotel in Hanoi just slightly outside the Old quarter it is really polished and elegant and the Satine restaurant was amazingly good for very reasonable price. The hotel is close to facilities and also the nearby Hoi Kiem Lake I was certainly returned to stay again

I was most impressed by a staff when I sat at the cafe telling him I needed not to order anything, just to sit there for a while. He replied “please feel free to relax , this is your home”.

Location was excellent . Staff very attentive, and very clear communication.

Room was a little bit dark . Lighting not strong enough and and too many individual light switches. TV was a bit old and remote control not very responsive

the bed is high, different of the majority and the decoration is weird

So smart and in a fantastic location very near the Hanoi Opera House and at the start of the weekend pedestrianised part near the lake. Really lovely. The hotel also has a lovely bar with a massive beautiful loggia with a serene water feature down the middle and snug tables around the edge. The best part however is the cinema screen playing black and white Charlie Chaplin films in the background. SO cool. Also loved the pool on the third floor with outside space to lie in a sun lounger whilst listening to the sounds of the lovely street below. Really nice view from here. Ask for a opera house view maybe - we didn’t have one. Not that it mattered. Lovely room and bathroom.

The price they quoted for a taxi from the airport. Silly compared to the normal price. As usual with these hotels using their laundry service is stupidly expensive - why!??

Location, the bed was comfortable.

I had food poisoning issue the first night staying there after having in-room service dinner. I was so sick all night and the next day. I had to have doctor consultation to get some medications to get fixed It ruined our plan and my health was at risk. We were travelling a few different places in Vietnam 10 days before coming to Hanoi and had all different kind of Vietnamese foods and I had no issue at all until I had a Signature club sandwich at this hotel. While my wife and I appreciated the help from the hotel to call the doctor and offered some safe food when I was sick, we weren’t happy with the outcome that the hotel only offered to take that dinner (which I got poisoned from) off the bill, nothing more.

The restaurant had good food. The staff was remarkably helpful and the location was just perfect!

Nothing really, but it was a little pricey.

Smelled humidity and found a spider on the bathroom towel and little flies in the room

I booked a suite with opera house view, but then I was given a suite without opera house view as I booked. The staff gave an excuse that the room was not available. I still needed to pay the same price as of the suite with opera house view.
