The staff here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent and on arrival we were greeted with complimentary drinks and snacks which were very welcome after our journey.Hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the old town of Hanoi. Entrance is a little hidden but the fact it's set back from the street means the city noise didn't interrupt our sleep. Room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom had a good shower.

Would have been great if the room was slightly larger but happy to compromise this versus staying in a central location.

Room has been upgraded, thus was much bigger than originally booked. Room has been new, as it is a new hotel, all equipped nicely. For transfer and help, Son was a very great help and support.

Perfect location , beautiful room , the comfiest bed I've stayed in Vietnam so far. I was even upgraded to a larger room upon arrival. Great value for money. The star of the show is Son from reception. Clear communication from the beginning , he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy . He even helped to plan some of my trips around Vietnam. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

My room didn't have a window, only a very minor issue.

Incredible new hotel, really enjoyed my stay. Son at the front desk helped me book my entire trip up in ha Giang loop for incredibly cheap with the best recommendations. Location is in a prime position in the middle of old town and everything you want to see is within walking distance.

Very helpful staff and a simple, clean room in the heart of Hanoi’s old town

It was perfect for what we needed - a base for sleeping in Hanoi. The room is quite small, but that wasn’t a problem for us.

Hotel in Old town but in a quiet street which is perfect to be close to all the shops and restaurants but also to rest at night. Son is the perfect host, very helpful and he will go all the way to make your stay in Hanoi perfect.

This is a great little hotel, right in the Old Quarter. It’s back off the street down a little alley, which means you’re still close to the action, but it’s super quiet.The rooms are lovely and well appointed.What really makes it stand out, is the staff. Son was amazing! He was in touch before my arrival, with lots of information and tips. On arrival I was greeted with tea and fresh fruit. Son really made me feel at home.I highly recommend LaDora if you’re visiting Hà Nội, and would happily stay again!

Amazing location, in the old town in a quiet street which is nice, but close to busy streets

The staff was so lovely and kind, they really wanted to help us with everything. The bed was confortable.

The hotel is in the back of a store, bit strange but since they are brand new I think that they will change the front of the hotel in the future.

When you arrive at the property, don’t let the small narrow alleyway throw you off. The rooms are comfortable with clean floors, beds, bathrooms etc. but most of all, the staff is amazing. The person who went above and beyond is Son. He got in touch with me prior to my arrival, helped me tremendously with my tour bookings (as I made no plans) and he checked in on me to make sure I was having a good time during my tours. He treats everyone like family and always with a smile. He works incredibly hard as I noticed he has night shifts and slept on the bench sometimes to rest in the night (I know because I arrived at the hotel at 4:30am). La Dora is incredibly lucky to have him. The other staff I wanted to call out is Vicki; she’s such a sweet lady who just wants to be helpful. She insisted to help me carry my luggage up the stairs (just two flights) even though she’s petite. I stayed at La Dora 3 nights (not consecutive) during my trips and frankly the reason I kept returning is the staff. Also, if you want a place where you are experiencing interaction with locals, this is the place to be as the building has a couple of floors where there are units lived by the local. This worked for me as I enjoy immersive experiences while having the comfort of a great room. AC and WiFi work great too!

Excellent service by Son. Room was clean and tidy. Easy to book transport services through them.

The toilet door was a bit squeaky and the walls and door were thin so it was a bit noisy. No external window as well, only window was to the common corridor with a curtain for privacy.

The hotel was typical Vietnamese and just lovely. It is in a perfect location in the Old Quarter. Travellers should understand that you enter through a traditional pharmacy and it is at the back of that property, making it quiet and secure.

It was all lovely.
