Rising Dragon Legend Hotel

The staff was friendly but didn¿t seem to understand English to well but we were able to communicate thru a language app. The location is honestly one of the best parts. it¿s pretty good hotel to stay in the old quarter.

The AC in the room wasn¿t great and the rooms are a bit small

The staff hospitalities outweighted all other things. We know about old quarter limited space so small foot print room is not matter. Big huge thanks to Manager, front desk staff. The breakfast bar is kind and helpful.

Need more bath towers, summer heat caused to take bath several times a day.

Everyday room cleaning. Daily free water, tea, coffee. Accessibility. Beds are on the hard side but still comfortable.

Needs minor bathroom repair i.e. shower head

The room was exactly as described, however there was only about a foot from the end of the bed to the wall which the TV was on so you had to shuffle to get from one side to the other (we are average size Aussies). The outdoor courtyard didn’t look like the photos online but was still nice to be able to sit out there of an evening. Breakfast was included but we never actually ate there. We were discounted slightly one night for having to move to another hotel (see comments below). This hotel was overall really nice and in a great location of the old quarter. Was quiet at night compared to their sister hotel (again see below comments). Staff were all lovely and accommodating. Had we not experienced the issues of moving hotels, our stay would have been completely different. Would probably stay there again due to the location.

When we arrived, we weren’t able to check in (it was after 4pm) and were ushered into the restaurant where eventually the hotel manager came and said to us our room wouldn’t be ready today due to plumbing issues from the previous guests. We were sent to their sister hotel which was located further out of old quarter and on a busy strip of pubs and clubs. The hotel manager here informed us that the room was exactly the same quality as what we had booked however it can be noisey at night. The room definitely wasn’t exactly the same, and the mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the music didn’t stop until after 2am in the morning!!! We move back to our original hotel the following day but still couldn’t get into the room until after 10am. Whilst this was somewhat out of the hotels control, it did waste almost a day of our stay in Hanoi. Shower service in our new hotel was ok, but the hot water ran out very quickly.

All of the staff were very helpful. Often went out of their way to help. Really appreciated David's time and effort helping us with the tour arrangements.

The bathroom could be improved with some renovations

The location is in old quarter, near to best restaurant and shops

Good location. Staff were helpful and agreed to keep our luggage for a few hours.

Room was not clean. Needs to be renovated especially the toilet and bathroom

- Great location, near to Old Town and bus stop from airport. - Breakfast was really good- Bed very comfy - Not in a noisy area

- Some of the staff didn’t speak any English- Shower was a bit old and the tiles were slippery

Excellent location close to the water puppet theatre and Hoan Kiem lake. Staff were helpful with bringing our bags up to our floor (the 7th is the only one not accessible by elevator). Great value for money.

Bathroom was a touch small (knees almost touch the wall when using the loo) but I expect that’s typical of many properties in Hanoi.

The room was clean and behaviour of the staffs were good. Location was near to kiem lake.

The staff was really great. I wanted to book the transport from the hotel to the Ninh Binh and they immediately confirmed me the bus.And also I asked for the one extra night and it was immediately approved. I really recommend this accommodation.

The man at reception was absolutely lovely - im sorry I didn’t get his name but also very comfy. Good location if you like being in busy Hanoi

It was fine

The hotel is in a great location, in a walking distance to all the major attractions. The staff are nice and helpful. My room is bright, clean, and quiet. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is a small buffet but the food is delicious. I want to give my thanks to David and Henry. Before we came, David communicated with me via email and answered a lot of my questions. On our arrival, he found I booked the wrong dates and managed to arrange a good room for us. Henry helped me book bus tickets to Ha Long. Especially on the check-out day, he went out of his way to help me solve the pickup problem through a lot of communication with the bus company and sent us to the right pickup point. My good impression of Hanoi mainly rests on these nice people. I'll surely choose the hotel again next time I visit Hanoi.

Very nice, clean and comfortable but like most hotels in Hanoi - no window but staff were lovely and very welcoming

Fantastic location and incredible staff - the property is excellent value for money! Strong aircon and comfortable big beds.

Bathroom facilities - mainly the shower - could be better. Water pressure is bad and the shower leaks a bit onto the floor.

Great location, a few minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake and many restaurants nearby. The staff were very nice and helpful, they gave me valuable information about tour attractions and arranged motorbike for my trip.
