Aurora Central Hotel

the reception staff were really nice and helpful, the family room we booked was very spacious and clean. the hotel was in a good location

the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking water overnight and got worse by morning. not sure it it was from bathroom on floor above or due to the heavy rain. we booked in at the spa, the experience was not great. the staff were disorganised and unprofessional. they changed the treatment right before it started, talked the whole way through and just generally didn't seem like they had a plan for the treatment. i felt uneasy and tense the whole time. when we advised the reception staff at check out about the experience they were kind enough to give us an additional discount.

Outside noise was able to be heard in the rooms. Especially on lower floors, building work starting at 5am could be heard.

It is right in the centre of it all, walking distance from good restaurants, markets and cool spots like beer street and train street. It also was a short Grab ride away from a bunch of museums!

The staff was over the top friendly and professional. Very helpful in arranging transportation and dinner recommendations. A great breakfast buffet as well.

Supremely friendly and hospitable staff - from the start you are welcomed with tea and light snacks. Gorgeous room and bathroom! Breakfast was nice with a wide variety and made to order items. Location was perfect for us. I liked being in the north part of Old Quarter. I really can't recommend the property enough and certainly would look here first if returning to Hanoi. Thank you everyone, especially Sophia and Junior, but really everyone from bellmen to breakfast staff for a wonderful stay. I feel this is an excellent value!

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room. The location is on the fringe of the Old Quarter yet very convenient to walk to all the relevant sights and eateries. The massage by the in-house spa was very good; the therapist was skillful. Breakfast choices were plentiful and there was also a separate menu for additional items.

When the hotel was sharing information about tours after booking, the staff made a strange comment "you ask the price just to compare?" when I inquire about the prices of the tours they were promoting although I had already prebooked some tours separately. Maybe it is just language or cultural difference, but it did gave me a weird vibe.

The staff at the front desk were amazing. So helpful and friendly. I wish I got their names. But I stayed April 18th to April 21st; if you worked front desk during that time, THANK YOU. The location is great. Surrounded my food places, massage parlours and very close to the night market street.

It was a bit odd not having a window in the room.

Teens shared a room and the bathroom didn't feel totally private as had shaded out glass and should see shadows through - not enough to be an issue but they felt uncomfortable with it!

Booked last minute as had made a mistake with previous booking and still got good value for money

This was my second stay at the hotel after visiting Halong bay. I decided to come back because I loved the hotel staff the first time. They had a little mix up with my room reservation but they solve it in minutes and even gave me a complementary transport to the airport because of the mix up. The kids room is also very nice.

This is a 5- star hotel im my opinion.The staff are lovely. Never had so much care in any hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is amazing. We were welcomed so warmly with hot tea , and our luggages carried to our room . We checked out the previous day but needed some where to keep our luggage the next day and they allowed us keep our luggage. And this hotel is beautiful!

The staff is out of this world. The hotel is very nice and getting to experience the vibe at old quarter was a very nice experience. The jacuzzi on the 9th floor is amazing. I have no things I dislike about the property.

Fantastic staff, great breakfast , the room was a bit small and no windows so I moved to their other location. Staff was incredibly helpful and eooooo friendly! Thank you so much ?
