    • Best location, it's central to everything in Hanoi Old Towns. The view from the balcony is fantastic of the busy roundabout streets below and Hoan Kiem lake to the left. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional.
    • I love the hotel. I will rebook my hotel there if ever I visit Hanoi again. First, the staff is the friendliest. They speak English and very helpful. They suggest where to eat, where to go, and they are very happy to help to confirm the location of my grab booking. The hotel feels like it is in the center of Hanoi. It is just across lake and a few minite walk to the Opera house where most of tours' meeting place. The hotel is also near the old quarters where you can eat the cheapest delicious food in South East Asia. It is just beside the shopping district and market place. Stepping outside the hotel, you know it will be a great day. Also, the hotel suggested my family to book a service van when we went to the airport. It exceeded my expectation.I really really recommend this hotel.
    • This is the best Hotel in Hanoi❣️If you want to be in the most central and exciting place in Hanoi, right next to the Lake, the square with an abundance of activity and probably the busiest road intersection in Hanoi - and still feel at home and in peace - this is definitely the place for you. Get one of the two rooms with a balcony overview of the whole spectacle if you can, it’s worth it!If you’re staying in the weekend, you’ll even see the transformation of the streets from the scooter circus into the night market, a festival of sight, sound and taste. The view from the rooftop terrace overlooking the whole lake and square is the best you can get.And then off course there’s Tracy, the top professional friendly hotel manager and her competent staff who effectively and with a smile and good English will assist you promptly and flexibly. So again, do you want a cosy, clean, well run and somewhat peaceful Gem of a Hotel in the Eye of the Hanoi Hurricane, this has to be your choice. It will certainly be mine next time in Hanoi.

    Cons -

    • NOTHING. I love that hotel. I really pray that hotel will flourish.
    • One of the electrical plugs in the room was not working. Hotel electrician has to come twice to fix it. The bathroom sink has slow drain problems several occasions required hotel staff to fix it.
    • A bit noisy because it is so central

Service and staff were excellent and helpful. Lobby and common areas are beautiful.

Great Location. Love the staff. Have stayed here several times and it is the best location with a balcony that looks over to the lake and night market.

We loved the staff, the cleanliness, the view off our balcony, the amazing rooftop looking out to the lake. We took our own beers and snacks up and had perfect evenings. I was worried knowing that the hotel is right in the heart of the action, which is cool when looking out during the day with the doors open, but we were so surprised how quiet the room is when you shut the balcony doors.

A little hard to fit two clam suitcases. We unpacked one so ended up not being a problem

Great location.. nice staff comfortable room and bed, silent night in buzzy area very good value for the lovely price you can’t be wring staying here ❤️

Parking a large motorcycle could be tricky as the traffic policy around is extremely regulated

The hotel manager and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They helped me book a tour to Halong Bay.The hotel has a great location in the old quarter. There’s a terrace open to guests, offering a great view of a busy intersection and the lake.

Excellent location right next to the weekend night market. Lovely balcony with a beautiful view.

Room facilities were a little old but functional. No breakfast (breakfast included in a nearby hotel we stayed at comparable cost).

Beautiful place, step out to the heart of center. Walking street and night market are available outside the hotel. It's super convenient

Perfect central location, we got a room with a balcony and it was so nice for watching the views of the city. The staff was also incredibly helpful in helping us find a ride to Ninh Binh. Overall had such a good stay we ended up coming back and booking another night

The hotel is centrally located right next to the lake. The staff were great. The hotel allowed us to use their showers after we had checked out, before we needed to leave for the next leg of our trip.

Like all places we stayed in Vietnam, there was some mold in the bathroom.

I liked the balcony, staff was nice

I didn’t expect to walk into a travel agency

    8CecilePosted on: 4-21-2025

Its location as by Hoan Kiem Lake. We were given access to a small lounge and terrace which over looked "junction" of the "Shark Jaw" which was quite impressive for "people" watching particularly at "rush hour" time. Very easy to access "the old quarter"of Hanoi. The hotel is situated where the evening market takes place on Friday and Saturday nights so the roads around get cordoned off. The staff was also very helpful and very friendly.

No window in one of the bedrooms but we were given an access to a terrace overlooking one of the busiest junction in Hanoi old quarter.

We stayed 4 nights here and had a fantastic time in Hanoi. The staff were very helpful, gave some great recommendations for places. We really enjoyed people watching from the rooftop, over looking the Shark Jaw, and the location is perfect for the lake, the weekend walking street, and lots of shops and restaurants. The laundry service was great. We were on the 4th floor, with a balcony and we did not find it too noisy at night at all.

At the beginning of our travels we stayed here & we loved it so much we stayed here again on the tail end of our trip. The staff here are exceptionally kind, helpful, and accommodating. We are on our honeymoon & they gave us some fruit & drinks with a little hand made note on our first night. The location is great, the rooms are nice, and the upstairs balcony everyone can enjoy is a treat. Def stay here if you're in town!

Lovely staff, amazing location in a central area with great soundproofing so can’t hear the traffic. We booked and arrived at 1am and the check in process was smooth and the staff were very accommodating. The rooftop views are great too!

Centrally located hotel, right in the middle of the old quarter in Hanoi. Close to the lake which is lovely to walk round. Comfortable, clean hotel with very helpful staff. We had everything we needed. Plenty of places to grab breakfast right outside the door.
