Rey Hotel Hanoi

I really liked this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for the light sleepers , great staff , amazing hotel design, enjoyed my stay. Most importantly they have shattaf (bidet)

The Christmas decorations were very nice with cinnamon scent.

The breakfast selection and location were a bit disappointing. The location of the hotel is quiet but a bit far from Ho Kem Lake.

Fantastic hotel and great value for money. The hotel was very modern and clean. The best was the staff who were extremely welcoming and helpful. Especially Ngoc at reception who helped me out even though it was really busy. I only stayed for one night but I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Hanoi 10/10.

Excellent location, upmarket but not quite posh hotel. Room and shower functioned well and wifi OK.

We did not take breakfast even when offered discount. The hotel has its own restaurant which was overpriced empty and poor and seemed only used for TicTok shoots by young women. After trying this twice we avoided it. Excellent cheaper options surround you so you will eat well. Unfortunately although we booked because the hotel was quieter than those surrounding, a new water main was laid alongside the hotel but for some reason only at night. Noise made sleep impossible one night and despite assurances on night two that it would not re-occur, it did and we had to move rooms at midnight. Luckily the place was far from fully booked so this was possible. I found some staff were fine but others were somewhat disengaged. We arrived at 6am in the morning after 16hrs of travel and just wanted our room. While we did not pay to get early access, I had the strong impression absolutely nothing was done to get our room ready earlier despite the hotel not being very busy. I found this unhelpful attitude stressful. I do think on balance if you want a quiet place to stay near the old town, this is a very good choice despite our experiences. Get GRAB on your phone and you are within $1-$2 of most of the sites you will want to see.

Room was clean, modern from inside. Absolute value for money!

No vegetarian food in breakfast, which only had 3-4 dishes catered towards Chinese/Korean guests. Staff was impolite and the locations wasn’t the best. It’s at the outskirts of old town

The property is centrally located and within walking radius of Hanoi’s old quarter

The coffee shop lacked basic pastry and viennoiseries

The hotel was excellent value for money, so many hotel staff eager to help make your experience perfect on every way. The hotel was very clean, the room was very comfortable with a cute little balcony and all the amenities you would expect at a luxury hotel but with a really good price.

The restaurant food was excellent but as someone new to Vietnam I wasn’t yet ready to have noodle soup for breakfast; would be nice to have a few internationalOptions on the menu for breakfast . But the salmon salad I ordered was excellent

The room is nice, clean, and cozy. The staff are very friendly, with great customer service, especially bao linh, he is very helpful during our check out.

Facilities are limited, such as no room service, no indoor pool, gym, etc.

The room was pretty quiet for us. The hotel seems still new.

The shower drain didn't work too well and it would quickly turn into a bath when taking a shower. I would not expect this for a hotel like this.The TV channels also didn't work too well, a lot of stuttering and hanging when trying to watch something. The television was basically unusable.

Unfortunately it is hard to find a good hotel in Hanoi. This hotel is new and has a very good combination of price and quality. I give it a 10 in the hope that the guys will maintain their level of service, you are great.

Nice rooms, clean, large windows and balcony unlike other hanoi hotels

Staff didn't care much about hotel guests. We were told to eat outside as both their restaurant and cafe were fully booked for private parties. Young local influencer all around the place just there for making reels and tik toks are a nuisance.

Location was good.

Staff didn't seem very welcoming, the lobby and each level entrance had such a strong fragrance smell, almost unbearable. TV remote didn't work properly.The hotel kept having random girls pretending they are staying at the hotel, just to take photos.

Lovely stay at REY. So close to the sites to see and shopping, food. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel restaurant Crystal Jade. The staff was so kind and accommodating

The location near the Old Town is good. My room was very nice. Staff were good.

The breakfast was not the best I have had - coffee and tea were in urns getting stewed and cold. There seemed to be limited facilities within the hotel - no room service, for example.

Spent 5 nights at this hotel. This hotel is not value for money with poor breakfast quality and limited choices. Very disappointed.

Clean hotel and room. The garden is nice and cosy. That's all I like about the hotel.

1. No extra bed available and there is no indication in the website.2. Was charge for an upgrade to a suite as were told there is a sofabed in the room. But actually it is curve sofa and not a sofabed. It's makes my daughter slept uncomfortably.3. Paid for additional breakfast but the selection was horrible. We are Muslim guest and will help with more selection of bread or pastries..4. Was charge for the laundry bag which I used to pack my soiled cloth and bring home. Reception charges me VND200000. In other hotel I stayed, none will charge me for that.5. Good if you can consider to refund me

The cleanliness of the room, very well lit, very soft pillows and bed. Walls were not thin, walkable distance to food places. Worth evrry dollar!

Good location. Limited breakfast selection.

Several operational areas of the hotel should be improved, especially room cleaning services. Toilet smells a bit from day 1 until the last day of our stay.
