    • The location of the hotel is very central, quiet and near to many local food and must see spots. The staff was super helpful and kind. Shout out to Suzy for giving us a nice upgrade in our room and lots of food recommendations that were absolutely delish!!!! They even allowed us to take a bath before our overnight transfer up to Sapa after the checkout. It was like a second home to us. The breakfast came with a good selection of local and western food choices. The fruits and yoghurt in the breakfast is super nice too.
    • Great staff, friendly and so helpful (special thanks to Suzi). Rooms are clean and furniture is excellent. Toilets are also clean. Location is perfect close to everything in the old quarter especially the train street and the lake.
    • Service, cleanliness, and breakfast were alltop notch. Kumquat juice upon arrival was delicious. Room was perfectly as described.

    • The only thing was that the room had no window.
    • Some staff went too far with service, insisting on carrying out bags and doing polite conversation when we clearly wanted to be left alone.

Staff was really accommodating and helpful! They were hands on from the moment we booked the hotel up until the moment we left. They helped us book a tour and we felt their hospitality and warmth. Shoutout to Eden and Annie! You can tell that they love and enjoy what they’re doing. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well. Everything was delicious — they had a huge selection of fresh fruits and veggies, pastries, rice, noodles, meat, drinks (you name it all!). We looked forward to having breakfast every single morning. The rooms were also so comfortable! We had clean rooms every single time we came back home from roaming around the city. The location was close to everything and yet it was quiet with no bustling sounds from the busy streets. We were able to sleep and relax peacefully. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

    None!

The service of hotel staff was excellent. They were so helpful with arranging our tours. They generously kept our itineary flexible since there was a storm coming during our stay. They also arranged a surprise cake for my daughter whom they learned was celebrating her birthday.

I wish they had better dishes served at the breakfast buffet.

The staff was very helpful. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast options were delicious.

I liked everything but I’m pretty picky when it comes to clean so halls could be a tiny bit cleaner. I stay here again.

It was accessible, great and clean rooms, and more importantly, the staff are great. They make your stay as comfortable as it can be. They arranged for early checkin, guided us in the locality, arranged for our trip to sap. aiden and suzie are very accomodating.

The staff are phenomenal - Emily and her team were super supportive for all of my group's needs. Even before our arrival, I was in contact with Emily, who helped arrange our rides to/fro the airport, day tours for Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh, and spa/massage treatments. Even when we had to cancel one of our tours last minute, Emily helped communicate with the tour company in a timely manner. All of the staff were always accommodating and answered all my questions (which were many). The daily breakfast was one of my personal highlights, as I consumed their baguette slices + butter & jam EVERY morning. One of my friend's birthday fell on New Year's Eve and the staff were so kind to help us surprise her with cake and allowed us to use their space to congratulate her. Despite the busyness of the holidays and Hanoi in general, the rooms were relatively quiet as they were removed from the street side. Overall, our group (a whopping 13 people) was very satisfied with our 5-night stay and always looked forward to coming back every night after a busy day outside. Thank you so much to all the staff!

The rooms lacked natural sunlight and some of the rooms were humid but I think that's pretty standard for most of the hotels in Hanoi and it depends on the weather. The walls between the rooms were thin but each night was relatively quiet considering the holidays, not sure if the room allocations are intentional but we were surprised that it wasn't louder considering the thin walls.

Breakfast was good, and there were numerous options. Tried the fish soup for breakfast and it was tasty.

I found out after I booked that the room did not have a window. In the end it wasnt that bad but having a window with natural light is nicer and I will use that info in the future.

Very nice hotel! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with a nice balcony. Such a good variety of breakfast options and all delicious. Great location too! We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer.

The reception and kitchen staff were so welcoming and friendly and the room looked exactly like the photos, quite spacious and very clean. My whole family found the stay very comfortable and the bathroom felt very luxurious and was also quite big. The area around the hotel was quite busy so it's a good choice if you want to stay near the heart of the city as we were a short walk from Hoan Kiem and Train street, and I didn't find it too noisy at all. The breakfast buffet also had a good selection of foods with a mix of western and vietnamese dishes. I found communicating with the hotel very easy as they were quite responsive when it came to booking the airport shuttle and giving us recommendations for things to do around the area.

    Didn't have any issues.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is perfect for tourists and female travellers to explore the city and the rooms are very well maintained and safe. The hotel offers free breakfast buffet which was very convenient. The staff helped with our bags and also recommended spots to go around the city. Suzy did an amazing job assisting us throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Had an absolutely amazing stay here! Have been travelling for over a month and have stayed in dozens of hotels. This is probably my favourite. The service is second to none. The staff is super sweet and helpful. They let us leave our bags at the hotel because we got to Hanoi early and they took good care of them until our check in time. The room was beautiful and was actually as advertised. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast was really good. Honestly this is a great hotel and I would recommend to anyone. Luna at the front desk is also an absolute sweetheart. She was a pleasure to deal with

    Absolutely nothing

Nice boutique hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, ok breakfast, no complaints.

The area around the hotel is not the best for walking, but this is normal for Hanoi. Just be careful and alert.

    10Ciao J.Posted on: 12-4-2025

The room is clean ! Bed is good to sleep! Also, the receptionist is nice. If we have any problem, they are willing to help. Besides, many thanks to Luna’s assistance; she carefully care about my needs and kindly gives me the help in hanoi which help discover the city more deeply and successfully.

Breakfast buffet and made-to-order Pho and eggs was the best we've had thus far in Vietnam. Coffee was good; served from a big pot. I loved the retro vibe of the hotel, the old, curved stairway, and breakfast room, with fantastic decoration and comfortable booths. Bed was very comfortable; separate shower, but it leaked onto the floor. Staff were beyond helpful and kind. They helped us figure out how to get out of Hanoi on our big motorcycle by avoiding highways, as bikes are not allowed on highways. While fantastic restaurants and shops were all around us in the Old Quarter, if I had to do it again, I would avoid the Old Quarter as there is way too much congestion and mobs of people, vendors and hawkers (not the fault of the hotel). You are forced onto the busy streets due to no room to walk on the sidewalks: parked motorcycles and cars, vendors and restaurants rule the sidewalks. Some might say this is part of the charm; I personally feel sorry for the locals that try to get anywhere in this area.

See above, re the crowded area around the hotel. I would like to have bedside lamps, instead of overhead lighting. We had a window, which let some light in, but it looked out to a wall.

    9JohnnyPosted on: 11-25-2025

Location is in the old quarters; meaning you are in the middle of everything happening so you do no need to get to the action. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. Emily was in touch with me from the time I booked and handheld us all through our stay and saw us off when we departed. Exceptional.ous

Not a lot. The hotel is in the old quarter so it comes with all the noise and crowd but we expected it.
