Central location, helpful and professional staff, good breakfast

It's the first time I've encountered cockroaches in the bathroom after visiting 54 countries. Also, it is prohibited to drop toilet paper in the toilet after doing your business, which does not contribute to the overall cleanliness.The personnel are very nice, they gave a small gift and asked to leave a review, but it cannot work this way, better know the truth and try to improve.

The room was clean, a good size and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Location was great.

Western breakfast options were poor. Air conditioning was not strong enough. Wifi was poor. No safe in room.A little noisy (on 3rd floor facing street) but this is to be expected given the location and it didn't keep me awake.

Well located, clean and welcoming

The worst was ask for extra 3% fee because of payment by card.

So noisy, construction that start at 7AM and noisy rooster that wake up us at 6AM. Rooms and bathroom are so old and just waiting for renovations.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay! The staff were all incredibly kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Chloe, who went above and beyond to help me get my laundry washed and dried after I experienced flooding in Ha Giang — her kindness truly made a difference. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

The breakfast spread had good variety. They offered local and traditional dishes as well as western. The buffet table was not big but they were still able to serve a lot of dishes by using non-bulky serving ware. I love that there were more than 4 kinds of fruit.

The bathroom shower area had a foul smell coming from the drain. The bathroom tiles looked dirty because the grout had molds.

Incredibly lovely staff and a fantastic location! Everything we wanted to see/go to was a 15 minute walk maximum! Wonderfully quiet room, and we loved the old (elevator?) shaft repurposed with beautiful lanterns. Great amenities and a good spread for breakfast.

We heard a lot of other customers being pretty rude to staff and complaining, but management assured us some of the older infrastructure is planned to be redeveloped in the low season. We think it’s an absolute steal for the price per night considering what’s on offer!

The room was comfortable so was the bed. The bathroom had everything you needed, even little toiletries. The reception staff were outstanding and ever so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is fabulous, right in the heart of the old town.My daughter and I enjoyed all the massages, the parlour is part of the hotel. Especially enjoyed the 20% discount.

The room was big, staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location!

The bathroom smell weird sometimes

Good location

Room had a bad smell and need maintenance, repainting, and replacing the old and scratched furniture. The breakfast was quite basic and didn't meet our expectations. The entrance not very customer friendly, especily with a lot of stairs to climb while carrying luggage.

Beds are a little hard in the basic rooms. The higher end room was much better. Overall, really nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. Stay here!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Plenty of suggestions about getting around and where to eat (really good local options). The room and breakfast were great.

The location was great. With breakfast, which was ok, with an option for continental food. The staff was very nice, and offered us nice ideas for visit in Vietnam.

Cleanliness was on the limit to acceptable for 2 night stay. But there is a possibility to improve.

Location of the hotel is the selling point. Everything is close by and can be explored via walking around

Rooms were very basic. We got the city view room. However, there was no view of the city. Bed was big enough and comfortable, so that was a plus point. Bath tub was a bit scary to step into as it was not that sturdy however the hotel does have hot showers
