Lucky 3 Hotel & Travel

The hotel is located in the middle of the historic Old Quarters of Hanoi. It's close to restaurants, cafes, shops, and the Hoan Kiem Lake. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to help us with things like getting SIM cards for our phones.

It's located on a street with one way car traffic (but 2-way motorbikes) and the best way to safely cross over to it is to walk a couple of steps to the traffic light and wait for it to turn red! We did cross through traffic without problem, however.

The ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Breakfast included was ok: rice or noodle, bread and spread, fruits, juices and coffee. No tea.

They advertised the room like a "no view" room but what they are not saying is that the window is an interior window giving on a wall inside of the building. It means no fresh air and no light. The room doesn't look like in the pictures which show light coming from the windows. And the room is damp and cold.

I can hear the noise from the hallway. It wakes me up all the time.

Staff were excellent. Location was good. Rooms were clean. Basic breakfast but plentiful. Good hot shower. Not a flashy hotel but good for the money.

Couldn't provide an extra pillow because hotel was full. Safe wasn't bolted down to anything. Hard beds, but still slept well.

This hotel stay was luxurious and added amazing value to my trip. The location near Hoan Kiem Lake was incredibly convenient! It was close to the train station and Old Quarter. Within a few steps I had access to a Circle K, Pharmacity, places to eat, many places to buy street food, coffee shops, booking agencies, supply vendors, laundry service, and anything else you need. The hotel provided daily housekeeping, high speed internet, a full breakfast service in the morning, a rooftop terrace as described, and the room was exceptionally clean. All the fixtures and hardwood furniture were excellently maintained and in good working condition. The room was very spacious and included a large balcony with a street view and fully functional bath tub with a shower. You can soak in a lovely hot bath, enjoy a hot cup of tea with the kettle inside the room, and plan your next destination on their fast WiFi! Ms. Sophie and her Guest Relations Team are always hard at work to serve the needs of their guests! I felt so comfortable, safe and well cared for from the moment I entered and when I left! I planned my visit mostly on my own but I am certain that if you needed tour suggestions or ideas for where to visit that they would offer great recommendations! I stayed in the Old Quarter for five days and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I will book again in the future!

It would be helpful to update any guestbook materials and signs that advertise services the hotel no longer offers like the Sunset Bar and Restaurant sign inside the elevator.

The room was great, very large and everything I needed. The staff here are exceptional, especially Luna who goes out of her way to make sure your stay here is special. Tours can be booked directly at the hotel and they provide recommendations on where to eat, etc.

It’s a no fuss hotel, but you have everything you need and it’s in the center. The stuff is very nice and helpful.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was excellent—just about a ten-minute walk from the lake. My room faced the courtyard, so it was nice and quiet, without any street noise. The room itself was spacious enough and comfortable, and the staff were friendly.

The breakfast was quite basic.

Clean, well equiped and good sized room. Good location. Friendly staff.

Humidity/mold smell in the room.

(1) room with practically no window, as it overlooks a cliff two feet away; (2) impossible to adjust the temperature of the shower (which is low): either very hot or cold; (3) the heater did not heat, which is very bad on cold days; (4) to pay with a bank card there is a 4% surcharge, and I had no prior notice.

Very helpful staff,also checked me in early which was amazing! The room was immaculate and the bathroom was great also with a good shower. Perfect location with everything in close proximity to the hotel. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone.Thank you Lucky 3 hotel

We stayed for our first night in Hanoi. Enjoyed the location and staff was very helpful with organising onward transport and giving recommendations what to do. The room looked smaller than on the picture and needs a refresh

This hotel is amazing! We loved the interior decor, with comfortable wooden flooring in a classical style, massive beds and a powerful shower. The staff were very helpful and speak very good English. We've stayed in many places throughout Vietnam and this is one of the best.The buffet breakfast is amazing, with as much coffee as you can drink and the food gets refilled so you can have as much as you wantThanks for a wonderful stay
