The staff were above exceptional. They were able to organize trips to nin binh and ha long Bay. They were helpful with everything.

The hotel was great.

The staff is so accommodating. We checked out really early on the last day and they prepared take-away breakfast for us :) The bed is very comfortable. The location is unbeatable.

The breakfast wasn't my favorite, but there's so much food around that I wanted to eat any ways.

The property is located where everything is accessible, the staff are attentive and friendly. Special mention to Mey the receptionist who helped my checking in and out of the hotel, she made everything easy and able to take care of all my needs especially when I needed to check-in early from a long flight. Mey also gave me excellent recommendations on where to get great food that locals love. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Hanoi.

Location is excellent, staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

We had the smell of cigarettes coming through our vents. I assume someone must have been smoking on the roof near our aircon unit. Our door was level 8, right by the entrance to the roof where breakfast was served, so it was very noisy in the mornings when we were trying to sleep.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa dos Príncipes. Everything exceeded our expectations — the location is perfect, the hotel is spotless, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.The staff were absolutely lovely — incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with any request. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel genuinely cared for.We especially enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast each morning — it was fresh, varied, and made with love.Thank you to the entire Casa dos Príncipes team for your hospitality and warm attitude. We truly appreciated every detail and felt so comfortable throughout our stay. We highly recommend this beautiful place and would love to return again!

Breakfast buffet, staff, and atmosphere

The staff is very friendly they helped us a lot especially early check out. They also prepare a special breakfast for us for the airport. That was super kind

-The location is great if you want to be in the old town, although the streets there are very loud and vibrant, you won’t hear street noise -The room and a hotel itself is cosy and there’s no noise from the streets.-the stuff was very nice and polite, willing to help and serve. They kept our suitcases after checkout until evening- mattress and pillows were comfy

- breakfast was awful, we went once, there was barely any food, so we left and never came back. Additionally, the breakfast is only until 9.30- no shelf in the shower to put your stuff- while the soundproof from the streets works very well, the room door lets through all the noise from the other guests and elevator- no hook in the shower to dry your hand towel- water wasn’t hot enough for our personal preference

This was an amazing stay in a humble corner of Hanoi. This was a layover stay for us so we didn’t think too hard about booking a one nighter, but this hotel blew us away. The staff were incredibly hospitable, Mey and Lin were exceptional. They had great suggestions for restaurants, provided laundry service, even booked us a car to the airport the next day for a cheaper price than Grab. I expressed I had been bitten by a mosquito in the room, and they offered us a change of rooms without question. The breakfast was delicious, bed was comfortable, and every staff member took pride in their role. I wish I could have stayed longer in this hotel, they truly gave 5 star service.

The location of the hotel is really great, it is at the central area and within walking distance to the lake. The room is not facing the main road so you won't be hearing any traffic.

1. The room I was given does not match the photos displayed on your website.2. The items on the table were very dusty. It seems the room hasn't been occupied frequently. When I requested for iron, they gave me a steamer and it was so dusty! The least they could do is wiped before giving it out to the guests.3. The room lacks mirrors. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. It would be nice to have a mirror next to the TV or a full-length mirror somewhere else.4. I requested a king bed, but the room came with two twin beds joined together. I was unable to sleep comfortably in the middle of the bed. The hotel is not being true to the room description.5. I requested the highest available floor. I wasn't aware that the restaurant was on the top floor and my room was located directly beneath it. To reach the restaurant, guests must take the elevator to Level 8 (my floor) and then use a staircase. On days when I wanted to rest, I was consistently woken up by the noise of other guests talking loudly right outside my room.6. I need to mention that there were only two rooms on my floor. I later learned the other room was occupied by the hotel owner's family. On one of the days, I returned to the hotel around 6 p.m. to take a rest after several days of traveling. There was a lot of commotion and noise right outside my room. I took a peek through the peephole and saw staff moving items from the restaurant and the other room, which, as I mentioned, is only accessible via my floor. I called the concierge to report the noise, but it continued. On my last day, I gave my feedback to a staff member, and she mentioned the owner's family had 'personal matters.' I feel the hotel management should be aware that paying guests are staying on the same floor and should be more considerate of the noise level.Will I be back? Definitely, no. They need to update their photos on booking.com and stay true to their description.

The room was clean and comfortable and the manager Lyn is super helpful who accommodated early checkin and helped me book a very nice Halong bay cruise. The lady at reception, My is also very courteous and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience.

The reception staff were genuinely kind and polite. They tried to remain professional and respectful even while executing instructions clearly coming from their management.

Upon arrival, I was told the room I booked was not available and was placed in another one that didn’t match the description or photos. The room showed clear signs of moisture damage and the window view faced a dirty rooftop full of trash.The hotel also refused to accept my American Express card, even though it is clearly listed as an accepted payment method on both Booking.com and the hotel’s own website.Later, the receptionist (acting under management’s instructions ) told me the price could be lowered if I canceled my Booking.com reservation myself. This is not about money; it’s about honesty. Most travelers may not realize that canceling their own booking affects their Booking profile. Asking guests to do so is an unethical practice that misleads the platform and damages trust.This experience is disappointing because travelers choose properties based on what’s published, and the reality didn’t match what was advertised.
