JOYE Hotel

Great location! It’s right in the heart of beer street, shopping and the lake is about a 5 minute walk. Getting to the bus station is walkable, only 10 minutes. The owner is super friendly and helpful for anything you need. She offer coffee for your charge in the morning. She even taught my daughter in law how to properly bargain for fresh fruit to get the best fair price.

I can’t think of anything that I was unhappy about regarding this property.

The staff are wonderful and helpful, and the location is right in the bustling Old Quarter.

The location is perfect for people who want to enjoy the night life of Hanoi. Many restaurants near the hotel and also the highway bus stop is near.

The hotel doesn’t have a lift and we have to carry our baggage to upper floors by ourselves. It is noisy at night because of its location.

Despite communicating in advance repeatedly about booking a taxi with Joye Hotel, they decided not to tell us in advance that our room had been double booked until we arrived at the hotel after a long day of traveling. We were told we must stay at the hotel next door, which was poorly rated on booking.com. Obviously this was not a welcome introduction to the hotel and it's disappointing they chose to proceed this way WiFi connection intermittent.

The staff was really nice an helpful! When I arrived I was quite sick so they gave me a free late check out for the next day and were super helpful, even printing out my boarding pass for free and organizing me an airport transfer for 10 Dollars. They also allow card payment, which was super helpful to me. I would recommend staying here!

Excellent location In the heart of the old quarter,around the corner from beer street. I had room 302 which was very quiet,shower was always hot,TV,beers provided in fridge?This hotel is family run & they are very helpful & friendly,they sorted my trip to halong bay & drove me to airport. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou ?

I liked the location

No elevator, dirty stairs with no railing on the 4th floor, the room felt dirty and although I ended up staying at a different hotel with my friend for one night when I sat down on the bed to pack I couldn't believe how hard the bed was. Seriously!!Also, when I arrived to find it was a walk-up, the owner said I should read the details. I went back through the details on Booking.com and there wasn't anything about no elevator mentioned. The pictures do not look like the actual facility.

The location was great , right in the centre of the old quarter on a busy street . We stayed for 4 nights in two rooms the first was on the top floor then they moved us down to the 3rd floor both rooms were comfortable, clean and very quiet being at the back of the building . The staff were very friendly and were always smiling and helpful .We will be returning to Hanoi so will stay there again if there is a room available.

On our first night we were given a room on the top floor 5th I think and there was no lift , I'm a pensioner so it was hard going , glad they moved us after that .

Good location, central of everything, the owner treat us like family, they even bought us breakfast They also can arrange tour if you needed at reasonable price

You were close to everything at this hotel. The host was super nice. You could book tours and get your laundry done all at the same place.

If you like it quieter, ask for a room not facing the main street.

unfortunately; whilst the location looks good on paper, it’s very, very loud at night. right above the main hustle and bustle with live music and partying till late. bed was also very hard and facilities in general a bit dated…

Room 101. Two nights. Owners are very nice. Great location, bed is good, excellent TV stations, huge Balcony.

The staff were extra friendly, and very nice and helpful. The place seems renovated; and new. But still had the homely vintage feel to it.

There’s no lift. It’s on a very busy street, there’s a pub next to it, so a bit loud.

The place location is great. It is right at the Old Quarter and very easy to reach it from the Airport (we used bus 86). The area was a little bit more noisy until 23-24h and then it's become quieter. We stayed in room 201 which has a nice balcony a d the room size was massive. We are family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and we felt very comfortable at the room and the place in general.We stayed there for 2 days and planning to return again in 2 weeks time.

I arrived late at night, the hotel was locked but they put the number outside for me to call them. Yes, after I called them they opened the door but locked it immediately. It'd be nice if there's staff on standby as people may need to go out for food or drink at night and be able to get back to their room.
