Location

No shower curtain, entire bathroom floor was wet as the drain was on the opposite side of the room. Room was so narrow you have to crawl across the bed to get to the window. Manager charged us for a ¿personal car¿ to the airport but he just got a taxi.

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. I especially loved the beds.

Great staff and location could not ask for more friendlier people at the front desk.

Unfortunately the nasty smell from the bathroom made the entire room unbearable to be in and also made showering impossible.

Inside room - which we knew. Other hotel cancelled last minute so we booked here. The room stunk and was moldy and filthy. Needs a good airing out and painted. A kettle with no plug in? My husband slept in his clothes on top of covers as he thought bugs! So damp the sheets were wet

For this price, you can easily find much better value for money in equally good locations. The photos on Booking do not reflect the reality of the property. We had two rooms without a window, which made the rooms very stuffy, with heavy and unpleasant air.Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here if you are going to get those rooms (202 and 302).

The staff are accommodating. The facilities are clean and complete. The hotel is also very accessible.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was honestly one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had.First of all, the room was completely misleading compared to the pictures. It appeared spacious online, but in reality it was extremely small — so small that I could barely open my luggage properly. What made it worse is that the room was filled with unnecessary bulky furniture (a large fridge and an oversized wardrobe) that took up most of the already limited space.I was explicitly told at check-in that I would be given “the best room with a window”. The reality: a tiny window, a broken curtain, and absolutely no light blocking — daylight came through as if there was no curtain at all.Sleep quality was a disaster. Every single night there was a constant mechanical noise, likely from the elevator or an electrical system. This was clearly not guest noise, but a building/MEP issue. On top of that, my room was located right next to the breakfast restaurant, meaning loud guests, staff conversations, and dishwashing noises every morning directly outside my door.Mornings were made even worse by housekeeping. There are no “Do Not Disturb” signs, so housekeepers would knock very early and extremely aggressively, waking me up daily. This lack of basic hotel standards is unacceptable.The worst incident happened on the day of departure. It was before checkout time (11:30, checkout at 12:00). I was inside my room, half naked in my underwear, preparing my luggage, when a cleaning lady entered my room without knocking or announcing herself. I immediately shut the door. Her reaction? Laughing with her colleague.When I reported this to reception, he was really sorry and could feel it after a long talk. Big thanks to Chris who had been really helpful since the first day and these events are out of his hands.

The location was perfect. It was near the temples, restaurants, shops and tourist attraction sites within Hanoi - Old Quarter. The room was decent and clean. Their staff was verry accommodating and friendly. I love their free breakfast since they offer delicious Pho and other options.

The WIFI connection was be a bit spotty sometimes.

The odour coming from the bathroom was awful, there was black mould in the bathroom and we complained about this. The staff sprayed the air but the smell returned. We were unable to shower and we couldn’t stay in the bathroom longer than 20 seconds. We asked for a refund but it was not granted and we asked to switch rooms which was also not granted

The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The location is great, it’s near to almost every tourist spot. Chris and Bee are very attentive to our requests.

Breakfast is good ! You can choose between several Western style options from a menu. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

Quality / price is out of balance. Meaning too expensive for the roomquality. The place is a bit run-down. As photos often do, also these look better than the reality.Bring earplugs if you have a room on the streetside.

Very friendly staff (everyone including Leo), location is in the heart of the Old Quarter, great value for money.

In Hanoi, in general there's very little space available for everything. Therefore the rooms can be narrow or bizarre shaped. AND there may not be windows. If that is important for you, check with hotel stuff and make sure your room has windows, and the shape does not look like a train :) This comment applies to all hotels, not only this particular one.

The room was old and not very clean. I saw stains on my bed sheet. What’s worse — even saw ants (more than 3) crawling through it. I haven’t touched the bed and didn’t eat anything in the room. The cups in the bathroom were dirty or broken. The TV was not working.

Honesty not much. It was in a decent location but super noisy

Super noisy on the road that you stay on so all you hear is horns all night. But you get what you signed up for location wise. The hotel was super old and deteriorating. The staff was not honest. We had already paid and then the next morning they said that we owed more money. This is after we signed a contract. I left my phone at the desk to go grab something from the room and the employee grabbed my phone while I was gone and went through my apps and canceled our room using my own phone without my permission. Very deceptive.
