Charming Moon Hotel

We had booked two rooms and they had failed to give us our key when we came to check in for the second room. Our family of four had to squish into a very tiny space.

Simple accomodation right on Old Center, near Beer Street and hundreds of outstanding eateries. Jay was a very friendly host that made the place feel welcoming and alive. Easy to get some help around town, booking excursions, rides, scooter. Excellent service.

For the price, there’s nothing to really dislike. Biggest inconvenience was poor drainage in the shower that made the entire bathroom floor soaked for a while after use, otherwise- no notes.

We really appreciate the support from the team there. Kind and gentle, Mr. Jay helps us to find a good restaurant, book taxi and give us tips for the rest of our trip. All his remarks were really useful! Many thanks for your support Jay ! We really enjoyed the time there.We recommend this hotel in the heart of the old quarter. Very convenient with all facilities around.

Fantastic location, friendly staff & spacious rooms. The hotel offer a laundry service which was quick and it was the best my laundry had been done in Vietnam. You can also exchange money there which was super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Bathroom was slightly mouldy but other than that it was fine.

The staff is very lovely and the room is cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Old Quater. Highly recommended!

This hotel is the best because of the staff that is amazing. The guy at the reception is the nicest and friendliest person. He helped us plan everything and also our trip later on in Vietnam. We were able to arrange so many things with his help that it was definitely worth the money.

This hotel is conveniently located in old quarters, Hanoi and it's within walking distance to most attractions and nightlife. The hotel is clean and the Jay the reception was exceptional . I highly recommend this hotel

To be honest, nothing

We had a great stay in this hotel in Hanoi. Very good location which is at the center of everything in Old quarter. Nice room and spacious. Accommodating and English speaking receptionist which makes us easily to communicate. Thank you Jay for those advice

Abit noise during rush hours but that not bothering us at all

As in the centre if the old town, it can be very noisy through the night. however this is to be expected given the location. Street outside hotel smelly due to bin collection at night. this did not affect our stay as u can not smell this from the room & only when walking past.

Plumbing crappy bathroom flooded every time you used the shower .

The location is great. There is 24 hrs reception. Value for money.

There was a leak in our sink. It was fixed though. But the shower water also leaks to the toiler area.

Quiet noisy from outside and water systems, wifi doesn’t work well!

Being at the park and 1st up the steep climb is such an advantage after reading how crowded and dangerous the climb is. Nice and quiet at night. Massage at property was great as well.

Great location, helpful and friendly staff

If you don’t like tiny spaces, this may not be the place for you. The elevator is relatively tiny as is the staircase.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of the old quarter near all the markets and restaurants. Easy walking distance to the lake. Jay, the receptionist was fantastic, offered great advice and sent excellent instructions via What’s app for meeting up with our transfer driver. His suggestion of Ban Cong Coffee and Restaurant was awesome, we loved it. Thanks Jay!
