S79 Ami Hotel Hanoi

Staff really friendly, can leave luggage for free, flexible in check in and out, easy check in, hairdryer in room was a nice touch. Location is good for exploring all sorts of interest points.Temple of Literature near by. Old quarter is quite near. It s a simple but effective accommodation.

Pillows a bit too hard. No window ( window opens towards a wall).

Convenient location to the supermarket and night market where you can buy your daily necessities. Also gave us a free upgrade and we came back to stay here one more time.

Lily was a very accommodating host, who was happy to sort laundry and airport shuttle booking. She was happy to be contacted anytime via WhatsApp.

The room didn't have a window, and the 'spa bath' we booked was just a regular bath.

Nice clean hotel run by a very efficient lady. Lower category rooms are small but the aircon is efficient and the shower is good. Situated in the old quarters, this place is close to many eating options which are open till late hours.

No windows in some rooms

The room was super clean and comfy. I really love how Lily respond to every enquiries that we need and she’s very helpful to us upon our 5 days stay at Hanoi. The location is very strategic and close to everything.

Nothing, everything is perfect!

1)Location was walking distance to all sight seeing areas.Though in front of the road,this never bothered me.Turn right when you exit hotel and many many pubs and eateries2)Receptionist Lily was very helpful in many ways

I always book a balcony room as I am a smoker.This hotel had a very very dirty and dusty balcony.Had a lot of rubbish and many left over broken tiles

It has a convenient location in the old city and the desk clerk is nice. The room is functional, nothing elaborate

It seems a bit understaffed. Sometimes waiting to find someone to talk too.

The location was very nice. Just next to the busy part of Old Town but not around the loud areas. The receptionist Ly Ly was very kind, gave me good advice, organized taxis, tours and other little things for me. I'd definitely recommend staying here while in Hanoi. It is also not far from the french quarter, the temple of Literature and the monument. Also the rooms were very nicely equipped.

Nothing to complain about

The location is very convenient, in the middle of old quarter. The hotel has great facilities for the price. The staff was incredible helpful and adorable.

I would say that the only thing was the lack of a curtain for the bathtub, but that's about it.

The room was clean, but very noisy and dated. The window view is at the corridor. We experienced the attitude of the staff as unprofessional. The communication was stiff, and we had to wait for a long time at the reception continuously. We asked if it was possible to drop our laundry in the morning and pick it up in the evening. The owner told us it was. When we dropped our laundry, we were told it be ready at 11 AM the next morning… When we went to pick it up the next day, we heard it was not ready yet. The owner called the laundry company and told us it would be ready at noon. Also at noon we went to pick it up, she started calling again and it was still not ready. She could have called the laundry service before 11 AM. Or let us know it was delayed, because now we have waited for a few hours in our room… Eventually, our laundry was ready at 14:30, but we got a discount. When we left the hotel, the owner asked which grade we would give our stay. Because of the noisy room and the inconvenience, we would not give our stay 10/10. She asked us to not write a review, because she only wants 10/10 points. Again, unprofessional attitude.

The staff force customer to rate high. It is not acceptable.

Everything go quite good, but when we leave hotel, the staff talk to my wife that we should rate hotel very very good. And ask me what point I will rate. I said I will rate high point to the hotel, I refused to answer how high I will rate, because it is not proper to do so. But she ask me another two times about the rating point. when I said goodbye to her I said don't worry I will give your hotel high point. After a while my brother told me the staff said if you don't give us 10 , do not rate our hotel , we even do not accept 8 or 9 point . At that time I knew why the hotel rating is high. It would be more lower.

The hotel is very well located, and the staff is really helpful. Very fast laundry service. Room is big and it has a bathtub
