Hanoi Center Silk Hotel

I loved the location of this hotel! Located in the heart of the old quarter, everything was within walking distance. The reception helped me book spas, excursions, my next stay, and sleeper buses! They were incredible and extremely helpful.

A quiet room in a super noisy area. This could be because our rooms are located at the back of the hotel.

The poor drainage in the bathroom causes water to stagnate, making showering uncomfortable and leaving the bathroom constantly wet.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff except the porter and a young lady in the reception was very rude. The pictures of the hotel and also the rooms are 100% fake. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, it's not even a 2 stars. It's most likely a motel for backpackers. And it's so expensive for what it is. Plus, it was very noisy as it is in a street filled with bars and pubs with loud music until very late in the night.We ran away after only one night where we paid exactly the same for even a 5 star hotel. We went to another one which was a real 5 star hotel which made our stay enjoyable and memorable.

The staff were really nice and knowledgeable. They speak very good English and so polite.

This hotel almost ruined my vacation because it was so uncomfortable. There was mold in the bathroom and it smells like pee when you turn off the AC. It was extremely small and right in the center of all the bars. It appears like the guests from the bars would spill out in the street and partied loudly until 2 am. We couldn’t sleep. This is not a family friendly neighborhood. On the weekend, taxis are now allowed to come in from 7pm to 2am so we had to walk in, but it wasn’t easy bc the street felt like a music festival. I don’t know how it got a 4 star.

The location is nearby the clubs & local bistro, but the staff was nice to offer me the room with sound-proof so I could easily sleep. Clean room, friendly staffs.

The hotel is located on the beer street, old quarter, walkable distance to many tourist attractions.

The rooms were old, the bedsheets worn off and overall quite outdated. Would not recommend to stay there if you a picky about the cleanliness. There are other hotels in the area, cheaper and more clean.

Not much just the arrangement from airport to hotel was somewhat organized and the room was clean

Unfortunately, this hotel was very disappointing and did not match the photos advertised. The building and rooms are old and poorly maintained. The shower barely worked — there was only a very small amount of water coming out, and it was barely warm.Noise levels were extremely high, both from outside and inside the hotel. I was unable to sleep properly and did not sleep well for three consecutive nights and had to leave. In addition, I booked a Halong Bay tour through the hotel for USD 100, which I had to cancel the night before due to food poisoning. No refund was offered at all, which was very disappointing and lacked basic customer consideration. So don’t book a tour unless you’re 100% going. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Wonderful staff, very welcoming and friendly. Helped us with the luggage storage even though we checked out 2 days earlier. Best hospitality!

Strategic location … extremely city center. Crowded at night and easily find food at night. This is the first outlet of Hanoi center silk hotel. They have many outlet nearby with similar name. This outlet abit dated and old.

Great location. Access to main tourist attraction and streets. Friendly staff and very supportive. Josie and Noah were helpful to provide recommendations for restaurants and arranging day tour for halong bay.

Door to balcony was having an issue upon arrival. But support was provided quickly and fixed the issue.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. They have promptly replaced TV set and shower head. They helped us with directions and other questions we had.

It is on the street of bars and pubs, would be great for partying. Loud music will be heard late at night. I mixed up this one with another hotel with very similar name when booking, so it is my fault.

Location is very convenient although probably the noisiest spot in town. They have a sound proof system that does the job and they do offer earplugs. I really don't like noise at all but I managed to sleep. Staff was nice. The tour I booked with them was nice, although not sure if can be found cheaper elsewhere.

For the sake of honesty and transparency, I would strongly recommend rating this as a 3 stars hotel and updating the pictures in Booking so the guests make an informed decision, know what to expect and you save yourselves disappointments and misunderstandings. Improve the common areas (painting, floor, decor) and paint rooms, improve quality of beds, bedsheets, provide cover, etc.

Convenient location in the centre of old quarter.

Super noisy at night as directly opposite a bar in the middle of beer street. The hotel did offer earplug. Only a thin bedsheet as comforter. There was a comforter in the cupboard but no cover. No hair conditioner in bathroom.
