Very friendly and helpful staff.

Waiting for the elevators and walls are a bit thin so it was a bit noisy at times.

Staff was super accommodating and welcoming. The hotel was extremely clean and in a great area. We loved our stay.

The toilet in our room did not flush very well but we made it work.

This property is amazing and Ann is awesome and amazing also , she helped me book 3 trips and each one was great

The location is fantastic and walking distance to many attractions. The hotel also has a spa with great masseuses and also tour booking services which was very helpful with our travels.

The shower screen is a little small but the water pressure and heat was great. There were no windows in our room but that didn't bother us.

We were on the 1st floor and the room was extremely noisy. You could hear everything that was going on in other rooms and in the hallways.

The staff of this hotel is very helpful and friendly, they organised a cake for our daughter's birthday, both breakfast and dinner at the hotel were superb. The rooftop pool was a hit for the kids (even if a bit could in December).Location in the city centre could not be better - the old town streets walkable and all amenities right around the corner.

Excellent information provided at customer service. Got upgraded so that we had a connecting room with our family. Fruit was a nice bonus.

good location in the hanoi old district. Good choices at breakfast buffet. few Vietnamese dishes. Excellent staffs. Zoey, Ann at front desk , and the breakfast room crews. Cheerful and very helpful.

AC did not work right the first two nights. noises from downstair from drunken guest.

Great location amidst Old Quarter and near great food and Night Market. Staff was awesome. Spa was great. Breakfast was substantial and restaurant was great for dinner or evening snacks. Rooms were nice and comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The staff was so friendly and welcoming, you'd think we were family! The location was walkable to sights and surrounded by good food. Very nice and clean rooms! We wish we didn't have to leave! Thank you to Zoey and her team!

The property was very close to the bus station which was nice when we came back at 2 am from ha giang. They had a roof top bar which was super convenient for relaxing at. The rooms were small but clean and modern. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was how we wanted it to be. We checked in at 2am and checked out at 5am and they were willing to accommodate. I also had an issue with the booking on booking.com and the staff was able to resolve the issue easily over what’s app.

The pool wasn’t heated so we did not want to use it

I highly recommend this hotel! The location was so convenient I didn’t take a single grab or taxi besides the airport. They did laundry for me quickly and I got a massage on property. I actually booked twice, first when I arrived in Vietnam and then second when I was leaving. I booked the room with no window both times. The second time they upgraded me to a room with a window which was nice! The only note about the window room is you hear street sounds which I don’t mind but I know some people do. I hung out at the rooftop bar quite a bit, it has an amazing view of Hanoi. Honestly the staff are incredible, they know true hospitality. I can’t say enough about the staff, Harley was amazing and the boy who carried my luggage through the street just the sweetest people. They organized a bit for me and even let me keep a bag for 8 days there. Harley even let me leave all my bags the day of my checkout and let me shower off before my night flight. I chose this place to have some comfort and convenience and they did not disappoint.

Rooms and bathrooms are small, outdated, and falling apart. Not worth what we paid.

The staff were wonderful. They were very attentive, always opening doors and offering help. One staff member even walked me to my bus stop for my overnight sleeper to Ha Giang and waited with me until I was picked up. I didn’t catch her name, but she was incredibly kind. The hotel staff also let me leave my baggage with them after check out so I could explore the city. I was able to use the hotel shower amenities to freshen up before my overnight bus.

The room quality was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. I requested a room change because the first room had stains on the walls, broken floorboards, and even a dead bug. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better with similar issues. Overall, I personally wouldn’t stay at Solare De Monte Hotel & Spa again. The hospitality was great, but the room quality didn’t match the price or the 4 star rating.
