Royal Holiday Hanoi Hotel

The staff is wonderfully helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate my requests. I stayed there for two moon consecutive days and they allowed my luggage to be kept there. Helped me earlier breakfast and late checkout.

Location in Old Quarter close to Sword Lake

Cleanliness of bathroom could be better for new arriving Guests.

The location is beyond excellent. Ton of great food and spa choices on the same block. Very close to hoan kiem lake, Ngoc son temple, the water puppet show, note coffee and Pizza 4p’s (which I could never get into).STAFF and customer service was exceptional, from booking to after I checked out. Ella, Kevin and David at reception are welcoming and do a great job. (When I had an issue with accessing the old quarter on NYE (because roads were blocked off), the hotel arranged for my bags to be dropped at my friend’s hotel through hectic traffic). Can’t recommend them enough for responsive and I liked the many windows and the city view. The included hotel breakfast was made to order and really good with fresh fruit, addicting Vietnamese choices and western breakfast options; the dining area is quaint and cute.

The Royal Holiday Hanoi Hotel is phenomenal! Its location is absolutely unbeatable—you are literally steps away from Hoan Kiem Lake and everything in the Old Quarter, including all the best sights, shops, and restaurants. The staff is exceptional, offering warm and professional service that makes your stay effortless. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and great value for the central area. If you need a hotel that is close to everything and offers top-tier hospitality, this is it. I fully recommend this hotel!

Staff were very helpful and it’s only a couple of streets away from the Hoan Kiem Lake! It’s also in the heart of Old Quarter so you can wake up and everything you need is walking distance!

Location is amazing, right across from the lake. The breakfast was always great! The room was a good size and I liked that the shower was walled off from the sink and toilet, as alot of other places have a "WET" restroom. Staff was always nice and helpful and very communicative.

Some of the decorative bed sheets had stains on them. The shower also had mold growing in the grout, so it needed a good scrub. The tea kettle in my room was dirty as well, so I didn't feel comfortable using it.

the staff were kind, very accommodating, and even helped us arrange airport transfers. location is perfect. the rooms were clean and comfortable. can’t think of anything bad to say about our stay. definitely will bookmark this place for when we come back.

The customer service from all the staff was amazing. It would be wrong to single out individuals because it is clear to us that team work and the service delivery is what makes this hotel special. We would also like to mention that the location of the hotel was also a factor in our decision to stay there. A quieter corner of the Old Quarter and a one minute walk to Hoan Kiem lake and within walking distance to all other Hanoi attractions.

Its not so much a dislike but crossing roads as a pedestrian in a city like Hanoi can be challenging.

The staff are all so helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and decorated nicely. The location is perfect as you can wander around the Old Quarter and all the sights or relax by the lake.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The location was great. Right in the heart of Old Quarter.

We were told we're getting upgraded to a bigger room. The room provided had an extra bed but was not needed. Our original room was supposed to have a city view but the new room had a view of the backs of other buildings.

The staff are all accommodating. The location is nice.

The first room we stayed at is clean. However, the second room we stayed at, even though it’s the same type of room, the cleanliness is different. And the maintenance of some of the items and areas in the room should be also improved.

I tried numerous 5 star hotels in my life. Absolutly none reach the service and profesionnalism of the staff at Royal Holiday Hanoi Hotel. Polite, freindly, really helpful. It was just amazing and made us feel really care of.

Our door malfunctioned and we couldn't get in for about 45 minutes one night.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They gave us very helpful tips and spoke very good English to help us at the front desk. The price was very fair and the location was very close to the Hoan Kiem Lake.

The hotel is not anything fancy but the location and price make up for it. It's a great deal!

Perfect location. Family room was very large. Given how it is located in an active part of old Hanoi, we were pleasantly surprised that it was so quiet. While Vietnam can be hot and humid, the room was very cool. Breakfast was full menu - made to order - absolutely the best. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. I needed their help a few time with phone calls, taxis, etc. and they were very pleasant and helpful. They spoke excellent English which is not a given in touristy Hanoi. Lastly, their suggestions for food and activities were spot on! The nearby lake was perfect for walking and exploring. On Friday and Saturday it is blocked off making it a pedestrian area. Loved it.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The slippers and robes were super comfy, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. The location in the old quarter was perfect—lots of things to do and see nearby. It was lively outside, but the rooms were very quiet and peaceful, which was a nice surprise. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely stay again!

The bathroom light switch was a bit tricky to find!
