Not hospitable, not helpful, rude receptionist

There was no lift (elevator) and the receptionist didn’t want to help us carry our luggages to our room on the 6th level

It is in the heart of old quarter but can be a good or bad thing depending on what you prefer. It was clean and enough space and furniture that you need. The host was very helpful and nice.

No elevator and our room was on a fifth floor. No view from the windows facing another building.

    7ChelseaPosted on: 7-15-2025

The room was clean and had enough space for us to be comfortable. AC worked great and the staff went above and beyond to help us with transport, tours etc. The location was right at the end of beer street but also somehow was quiet.

The stairs are a pain, but if you don't mind that little extra effort the location makes up for it.

Very nice hotel, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and one of the lady spoke excellent French. Everything was great. Be aware that there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. The hotel is in the very heart of the old quarter but quiet at the same time. I highly recommend it.

Comfortable room walking distance from old town with helpful and friendly staff

    9TomerPosted on: 3-26-2025

The location is excellent and the staff are super friendly. The room is good and clean.

There is no elevator, We knew it from the start but we still booked it because of the location and enjoyed it..

The location is great - super central yet quiet. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly. If you are reasonably physically fit, you won't mind that the hotel doesn't have a lift.

The bathroom unfortunately had black mould in several places, which also left a slightly musty smell.Unfortunately, we couldn't use the fridge either as it was also infested with mould.

    - Central area in Hanoi Old Quarter- Beds very comfortable- Clean and tidy room- Hotel staff friendly and willing to help with anything e.g Tours, airport transfers, sim card etc

Nothing we didn't like but a little tip: Taking a right when you come out of the hotel will take you down a busy touristy road (especially at night). If you take a left instead you will find it gets slightly quieter and there are better restaurants

    8AndreyPosted on: 3-7-2025

Location, check in was quick and simple.

Shower didn't work properly, even though personal of the hotel tried to fix it, they haven't done it completely.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Hanoi,Having tried several hotels in Hanoi, I highly recommend this one.The service is very operational and can help you with all aspects of your stay in Hanoi: visit, organization of your days, washing machine, transport logistics to the airport, etc.The other one speaks the most French, which was a real plus in our stay in Hanoi!

Location was excellent once you found the property ..tucked into the maze of the Old Quarter. Lovely staff .. sweet & accommodating. Good sized room. Nice hot water as the temperature was ?.

Listing is a little deceiving to speak of a room with city view … I was on the 6th floor (no elevator ?) .. the view was obstructed and over the bed.6 flights of spiral staircase.. a challenge …Lots of noise from the street and other guests .. not soundproof ..

    6RussellPosted on: 2-2-2025

Was ok I was on the 6 floor Definitely got my steps in climbing those stairs 4/6 times a day ??

    No breakfast

    7MaryanaPosted on: 1-30-2025

Sweet and polite staff, clean rooms, good locality, walking distance to main attractions

They don’t have a lift, a bit task to go with ur bag upstairs. And little bit old. Need some renovation

    9AmosPosted on: 1-18-2025

Beautiful building and rooms were very adequate with great AC and very comfortable beds. Very central in the Old quarter of Hanoi. Extremely busy area but we had a great night. The hospitality staff were also excellent!

Bathrooms were not the cleanest, specifically the shower

    8MelaniePosted on: 1-13-2025

The location of the property was brilliant for the old town. I’d totally recommend this hotel for this and also for its beds. The mattress and bedding were so luxurious that you just felt enveloped. The staff were kind and friendly.

Having paid for a sky view room there were a couple of things which came as a surprise. Firstly no lift and our room being on the sixth floor was a bit of a trial when you arrive with luggage! There are I guess two sky rooms (there are two rooms on the top floor and every floor) but having been allocated 602 we couldn’t open the curtains as our window at the front looked straight out to the next building. It wasn’t worth the extra effort with the stairs or the additional money.

    10LuuliPosted on: 1-4-2025

The hotel has friendly staff and is at a great location. It’s within walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and on Beer Street. We didn’t hear any noise from Beer Street while sleeping overnight. The shower had hot water and the bed was comfortably firm.

What might be an issue for some guests is that there is no elevator, but we had no problems since we only had backpacks and were staying on the second floor.

Location was good and clean, staff friendly.

Hotel is 6 floors (which I was on) and it’s no elevators. I had a 50lb, 16lb suitcase aswell a 20lb backpack as a single woman traveller. Thankfully reception was able to help me but with only one employee working there could have been a possibility for no help. Leaving to airport using their private vehicle should have been 45 minutes and it took 1h30 so driver could pull over and “pick up a package” he left me on side of highway in back seat at with all of the doors locked I has to crawl from the back to exit his passenger door. I was very scared as a young solo traveller I will never book with him or recommend anyone books with him. His information is Vu Minh Tu, 29F-048-97
