The location was good, close to good food and bars

Bed was rock hard, toilet didn’t work and took hours for someone to look at it, air con did not work either, promised a balcony on description and was awful

Good location in old town walking distance to most things. Cheap for location. Helpful staff on reception of prompted to ask for local food, directions ect. Good base if you just see it as somewhere to sleep and cheap for the price.

Room wasn't very clean (stains on mattress protector, plastic bottles under bed, chewing gum in bin). Think hotel is also having renovations or work done as no proper sign to say it was the hotel, area with seating filled with other stuff so didn't make it very inviting, spa not available ect. Aircon generator outside room was very noisy and the drains smelt in the bathroom then also in the reception area. Plug sockets in room also not very good struggled to charge phone and have lamp on.

The location was great - very central to everything we wanted to see. The concierge were really helpful and helped us book excursions and even helped up rebook our flight in Vietnamese - we will be forever grateful!

The hotel reception was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She even allowed us to store our belongings for several hours while we explored the town, waiting for our departure time to the airport. Also, the hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Old Quarter.

When I arrived, the hotel was still undergoing construction on the ground floor, making the check-in area a bit messy. While the noise from the construction was quite loud, it was only noticeable on the first day.

On the 5th floor, a small a/c is not enough to make the big room cool.. They need to upgrade one more a/c or Fans to keep the room cool...

My room, there was some web on the corners and some bugs. I was living there 3 days, so the bugs became my friends

Wifi is terrible.

We only stayed here as a day stopover until our late night overnight bus from Hanoi. The staff were really friendly and nice, and it was a cheap option for us out of the heat and rain. Aircon worked well. Good location.

Room smelt like cigarettes, wasn’t the cleanest. No lift so was quite difficult to get to our top level room.

We had a big nice room with a balcony but unfortunately there were no chairs or table on it, which would have been nice.

Incredible location in the heart of Hanoi and a fridge!

Bed was a little hard and our first room had the A/C plug short but we moved rooms and all was well.

The location was really good. Everything was within walking distance. They let us keep our bags there before we checked in. Balcony was nice, would have been even better if there were chairs

The water ran out in the shower and some of the wall outlets didn’t work.

We had to move rooms as our initial room had problems-a leaking a/c unit, and balcony and bathroom door’s didn’t close properly.

The hotel is walking distance to many food stops! Staff is friendly. No elevator but fortunately, our room is just in the second floor. For those who will bring big luggages, you might want to communicate with the hotel beforehand regarding your room so you won't have difficulties in bringing your luggages.

The door knob to our bathroom is broken.

Balcony door did not work (stay in 3 balcony rooms at different times during my holidays, none of them works)

Great location in the old town, very close to some excellent street food options. Our room was huge, got a lot of lovely natural light from the balcony door and was clean enough and comfortable. A few english language channels on the tv :) The staff were very friendly. Great budget option.

You need to let reception know if you want the room cleaned - we weren't told this when we checked in, so instead we had hung the sign that they provide in the room which indicates you'd like it cleaned on the door, but then it didn't get done for a couple of days until we found out they don't actually check those signs..! Not an issue, but good to be aware of.Hotel is on a busy main road in Old Town so can be pretty noisy, even on the upper floors.The lamp in our room wasn't working, and despite us telling reception about it multiple times over the week we stayed, it didn't get fixed. Not the end of the world, but woule be nice to not have to use the big main ceiling lights when trying to relax in the evening!In the pictures the balcony has a table and chairs, but in reality ours didn't.

There was a water and electrical shortage on two separate days. No housekeeping also and insects in the room. The bed was dirty and the blankets were smelly.
