Golden Legend Boutique Hotel

The hotel is located in the old quarter, close by to everything! Is clean and comfortable! Although the staff is the best, friendly, super helpful and willing to assist you with your requests. Thank you very much all and especially Kate, Richard and Hana for your hospitality !!!!!Definitely I will come back!

I was kicked out at 2am because they canceled my original booking and assigned me to a sister hotel. When I refused to accept the change, they refunded my money, however at 2am in the morning I could not find a single hotels who has the available room. It was extremely unprofessional of the hotel manager (who was not present at the hotel but was directing the check in staff). It was classic bait and switch tactic from this hotel. I would never stay here and would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

Wonderful location on a quiet street in the middle of the busy Old Quarter. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast (at the neighboring hotel) was plentiful and good. The staff at the reception desk( Shawn and Chang) were so helpful, informative and charming; they helped make our stay in Hanoi great!

The location is amazing and the room although it was small, it was very cleanThe staff is really the one who makes the experience at this hotel. They are very friendly and they helped us with everything. They even gave us a small surprise when they heard we are in our honeymoon. One note: even though we booked a room at Golden Legend, they offered us a room at Golden Amour Hotel which is on the same street, 50 meters away from Golden Legend.

From our point of view, the breakfast can be a bit better, with more options. Also one inconvenience it's the noise from the street, but that is something you will face in every hotel in the Old Quarter.

We were switched from the Golden Legend Boutique Hotel to the Golden Amour Hotel, apparently owned by the same Hotel Group. The room the first night was far inferior to the room that we had booked. Kate saved the day the second day by upgrading us and ensuring that every part of the rest of our stay was perfect. Kate is, by far, the very best part of the Golden Amour/Legend Hotel experience.

The location is in old quater that close/walking distance to to many tourist places (shopping, Huan Kiem lake, train, cathedral, ....)

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfasts, comfortable room temperature, hot shower, clean and comfortable bed, luggage storage to collect later in the day.

Great location with a good breakfast. The staffs are very kind, Moon from the reception, Nam from the breakfast buffet who always took care of all the guests, and especially Richard who took care of all our tours and transfers even in Sapa. Thank you Richard for all the help.We will definitely be coming back.

Room temperature is not cold.

I loved how nice the staff were especially Moon and Jane. This was the prime location for our food tour adventures and itinerary focused around the Old Quarter :’)

N/A, all is well

The location was perfect, pretty much a walking distance from everything in the old quarter. The staff were very kind and helpful especially Hanna and Richard they helped us book a 1n2d cruise to ha long bay and let us leave our luggage in the lobby, the rest of the staff were all kind as well, the room was clean and despite being located in a crowded area we didn’t experience any noise. Breakfast was not bad like I read in the other comments, it was decent and they had some options.

As per the previous review, the staff are the asset of this hotel. They are very friendly, helpful and kind. Always has service with a smile. The place is also the centre of everything (sightseeing, food and coffee shops, souvenir shopping). Thank you Golden Legend Boutique Hotel we had an enjoyable stay in Hanoi.

The location is excellent surrounded by many places to eat and walk. The staff was always helpful and friendly, they answered all our questions and made us comfortable. When we wanted a motorbike they handled the logistics and got us a fair price, making things easier. We enjoyed many items in the morning buffet, and we could enjoy some quiet time in the room despite being in a lively street.

The size of the room is pretty smaller than the pictures because of the .5 camera lens used we think, but the room was sufficient for what we need.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed their recommendations and assistance in booking day trips and outings. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great - the quieter street was a nice break from the city.
