Maya Boutique Hotel & Spa

Great location right in the middle of old quarters of Hanoi. The staff at the hotel were superb. They went out of their way to be helpful and delivered some of the best service I've experienced.

The staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel is not what it looks like in pictures. It is far more dirty and run down than we were anticipating.

We got to the hotel at 11pm after a long travel day and were greeted really nicely by the staff. We stayed only one night and had a nice breakfast and really enjoyed the room. Thanks Henry for seeing us out and for being so kind!

The location is convenient, although not at all recommended. Staff willing to help.

The hotel is not a 4-star hotel—the room is not as shown on the photos—NO soundproofing AT ALL—bad breakfast

The location is great for walking around. There are many Vietnamese and western food and beverage options close to the hotel. The hotel manager was great at arranging a cruise and airport transportation in advance of our stay.

Any issues were addressed promptly and with great concern. For example, I like extra pillows, and they were immediately provided.

Vy and Frodo (and all the others) went above and beyond to help us sort our trip, arrange transfers, and generally feel very welcome in HaNoi.Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, location was good, rooms were remarkably quiet given the chaos outside, and, most importantly, the water pressure was strong and there was enough hot water!

Excellent location, very clean, good breakfast, and wonderful staff—did all they could to make our stay pleasant, especially Vy. We also especially liked the balcony view.

Bed was not comfortable, hotel could use renovation. Also I did not liked the massage. The worst one I have ever had.

We had a great experience staying at Maya hotel. The staff was really great, which i think was the best part about the hotel. The building itself is old but our room was really clean, and they make up the room every day.

The food was okay but it would be nice to have some variations every other day. Other than that, everything was great.

The hotel is very budget friendly in the good location, but its not fancy at all and doesn't have lot of options for breakfast. However their staffs are very friendly and always try to talk with you and will give you explaination about place you want to visit.

Rooms are very clean and well organized. The breakfast has different options and is fresh. Everything is accessible by foot. The staff is always here to help and arrange you. They even book for you activities /transports…

Noisy because of the street but it’s okay during the night.

The hotel isn’t at all like the photos. They have been heavily adjusted to hide and smooth al the poorly maintained facility. There are cracks, peeling paint, everywhere. The shower head is completely broken, the room is dirty and damp. The breakfast is not good.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with our entire stay in Vietnam, offering advice and guidance.

Great location in the old quarter but still not that loud in the rooms. Clean nice rooms. Staff went above and beyond, they couldn’t have done more to help us, even advising about upcoming destinations not just Hanoi! thank you!

Vy is wonderful! She is beyond helpful… I didn’t plan a thing before coming and she spent time going over the entire city. She anticipates your needs! The location is wonderful and the hotel is clean!

I would def stay here but honestly, it’s closer to a 3 star. I haven’t stayed in any other Hanoi hotel but I don’t think it meets 4 star standards. It feels a little like a home stay. However, the bed is huge and firm and I slept really well. The washroom is also updated and the room is very clean. Hanoi is really busy! Being ear plugs.Also, the elevator only goes to the 7th floor so if you cannot handle stairs make it clear to the staff.
